★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best place to walk your dog in Varsity, hands down. It is safe to let your dog off leash, there is no threat of traffic at all, since there are houses on either side of the ravine. There are always plenty of other dogs around for yours to play with.
There are 4 large garbage bins placed within the park, so you won't be stuck carrying doggy bags for long. It can be easily accessed from both Varsity Village and Varsity Estates. Also, they do a good job ploughing the walkway, so it's safe to walk in the snow without worrying about slipping!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good off leash park for your dogs. Two parks for your kids to enjoy an burn off some energy. When it snows it has good hills for you and your kids to go sledding down the hill

The park is great for dog walks too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice to take my boys sledding on the same hill I grew up on. A bit dangerous if it's icy; please wear a helmet!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a great park for walking and sledding. Both sides of the park slope down to the central walking path, so walkers and sledders need to pay attention. The path is cleared in the winter, although still slightly icy so wear good winter boots.
In the summer, it's beautifully green and treed. Lots of dogs run off-leash in this park.
