Recently had the pleasure of working with Karl Termini, and the Vancouver Hub made it happen. The Hub is a great place for new and experienced lampworkers alike. The space is well designed for both, social collaborative working and more private production oriented artists. Oxygen is abundant as is annealer space. I will be back for more! Thanks.

Well worth the price for a 3 hour glassblowing experience. Nathan did a great job in explaining the steps and helping out when we needed it. Definitely would recommend and I’ll definitely be back soon!

I took the class today with 2 other people, It was a perfect time to take the class with Nathan. The studio Is inside the garage and well equipped, nice art inside and just a great time all around, would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good experience and a fun time

Vancouver Hub offers drop ins, classes, and even space to rent. With a well equipped studio. (Wide range of torches and tools.) I personally rent space and come often. I pay $20 a day for almost everything and enjoy Nathan’s company. I work graveyards and this guys wakes up to let me at 7 in the morning.

Attending a class at Vancouver Hub is quite the experience. Nathan (the owner and teacher) is enthusiastic and knowledgable. He tries to foster this same sense of enthusiasm in his students, which makes for a fun time no matter what. However, the glass blowing experience I received was not quite what I bargained for. Vancouver Hub has no layout or breakdown of the class structure or what it goes over on it's website. For those going in thinking they will be blowing glass (like me), they are wrong. It is a small portion of glass basics, using propane torches to make a few small projects. I was super disappointed. Not because Nathan was not great, and not because I did not enjoy my time, but because it was in no way what I thought I was signing up for. I would suggest for Vancouver Hub to make a write up soon!

A really great space to learn about glass blowing. Nathan is a very enthusiastic instructor and is very helpful. He gives you all the necessary information and lets you explore, and is always ready to give you a hand if needed. I took the beginner class from him and enjoyed his class a lot (small class size, good selection of equipment). Will definitely come back to learn and make more glassware! Thanks! p.s. the studio is a bit hard to find the first time as it is in a residential area. But once you find it it's not easy to miss.
