Vancouver Career College - Vancouver

I am current student at Vancover Career College at the downtown campus. I am taking ECE close to graduating soon. I was introduced to Roman Ansari (aka my dad) when I first came to the campus a few months ago he's enrolled me and helped all throughout the way. Roman is someone who you can easily approach to talk about advice or any struggles you have with school or with life. He makes sure your on track and takes full responsibility of all of his students. Also shoutout to Bret Garef my most dramatic and funniest instructor, hes made taking classes very fun to take and I've had a good experience. Love yall!!

As horrible as this whole pandemic has been, it has allowed for so many to make drastic changes for the better in their lives and career. My fiance and I signed up with Roman Ansari who we instantly connected with. Whilst going to school for the Social Services Professional Program (taught by Rodrigo who is seriously the most amazing teacher), my fiance and I had been building and growing our DTES Food Recovery Project called The Heart Tattoo Society. Roman has supported us in so many ways since we met in April 2021. Without him, we would not be where we are today. We are now a full fledged non profit that recovers almost 25 tons of food a month and serves over 2000 meals a week to the DTES community.

I am a current student at Vancouver Career College, downtown campus taking the Social Media and Web Marketing program. I was planning to start classes at another school when I received a call from Roman Ansari back in May 2021. After a great conversation with him on phone, I decided to meet him in person. He accommodated me by meeting me at a time that worked for me best. He sat down with me in person and patiently answered all my questions and really took the time to get to know me, my situation and what my career paths was going to be the most beneficial for me rather than just enrolling me into any program. I decided to not pursue the other school and join Vancouver Career College. At that time I was going through financial issues due to my injuries and Roman offered me up front scholarship which made it easier for me to join classes. Roman also advised me that he can request a completion scholarship for me closer to the end of the program. The process of enrolling, getting approved for student loan to orientation was very seamless and I started classes immediately within two weeks of meeting Roman. I have learned a lot from this class and I have gone from having no knowledge of Social Media to know having an in depth knowledge of what Social Media is like. Staff, Teacher and everyone at the school has been professional and courteous towards me and has gone above and beyond to accommodate me. What has really stood out for me is that for an entire year Roman Ansari aside from wishing me Birthday and Holiday greetings he has consistently checked up on me and other students in class to see how we are doing and had offered help through out the entire year. He even got me a tutor which has been a god send for me. I have never met someone who goes above and beyond for the people in his life like Roman does. If I could, I would nominate him for a higher position in the company. As I am approaching the end of my program I contacted Roman for the completion scholarship and I had the pleasure of speaking to Behnaz the Campus Director. She was very courteous and went above and beyond to accommodate what Roman had promised me and I could not be more happier with my entire experience. Currently enrolled in a web marketing program thanks to Roman. Very helpful with the intake process. I'm finding the class to be very informative and the staff are very caring. As busy Roman is, still finds time to keep in touch and make sure I have what I need to continue my studies. Thank you for the opportunity!

I had a great experience throughout my journey as a student in Vancouver Career College. I am very thankful to my instructor, Negar Kaveh for helping me and for always understanding my situation . She is indeed a great instructor. I want to thank also Jennifer Flores who has been a good Practicum Coordinator.

Thank you to Roman for taking such great personal care of each student that he is responsible to. Can always count on him to resolve issues that are occurring with enrollment, scheduling conflicts etc. Cyber Security student. Have enjoyed the program very much and Joutiar is a wonderful teacher. Very jealous of whoever he teaches next. I am 50% through the program and already am in a place where I can begin to apply for IT positions at an entry level. Looking forward to a fruitful career in the cyber security field.

I joined the college just a few months ago because I was introduced to Roman Ansari and he changed my views on school . He inspired me to start school and begin my new career he made it so easy and approachable. He truly inspired me . He’s a fantastic human and led me to make the choice that will change my life . I truly feel lucky to have met him . I can’t say enough about him , I’m really lucky to have met him . I highly recommend going to see him if you are interested thinking of going to school .

I am beyond excited as I received the best birthday present today, all thanks to Roman Ansari. I met Roman over a year ago in April. I was very interested in Paralegal program but I had made some mistakes and it had caused me to lose my eligibility for funding from student aid. I was unable to start the course May of last year. Over the last year Roman has worked on his own to negotiate my student loan & in bringing it current. Last week I found that student loan is in the process of removing the restrictions on my student loan account and in 60 - 90 days I will be able to apply for student loans and start the class that I wanted to do so last year. I just registered to start classes in Sept and I am beyond thrilled. Who knows I may be able to start early if I can get scholarship and extra help. Thanks Roman for going above & beyond to help me.
