He spent time explaining everything to us (set-up, flies, techniques) and giving guidance and tips while learning and practicing. Once we started fishing, the day we had was unreal. We lost count of how many fishing we caught over the day. Bulls, cutties, and rainbows all day. We really enjoyed just chatting with Clint and learning more about the history of Czech nymphing and conservation in Squamish. We could not have asked for a better day and experience on the river. We will definitely be booking another day out!

I landed 8 fish my first day of fly fishing, which can all be credited to Clint and his teaching technique, plus knowledge of the rivers in Squamish. Also Valley Fishing Guides have the best gear from the rod to the leads, to the flies/nemphs and waders/boots. I was dry, happy and catching fish the whole time.

We fished mainly for Coho Salmon but also for Bull Trout. We had 2 very good days and one spectacular day hooking close to 30 Cohos and landing about 20. Some of th fish were in the 10 to 15 pound range. He has excellent knowledge of the rivers in Squamish area and put me on fish most of the 3 days. He is also a terrific flyfishing instructor and helped me fine tune my fly casting as well as teaching me the Czech nymphing technique. My experience was so spectacular that I am scheduling another trip in October of 2022.

We found a day in between rain storms in November that ordinarily most people would consider the weather and river conditions unfishable! With help from Mother Nature (didn't rain) and Clint's knowledge and experience with the river system in the Squamish area we found fish! In addition to catching a variety of species, Clint taught us a lot that we had never known before: how to read the river, locations for targeting different types of fish and techniques for nymphing! Clint supplied all the equipment we needed and let me tell you, it was all first class equipment (Simms & Sage) and virtually brand new. My son (19 years old) and I had a phenomenal experience. So much so that we are totally hooked and can't wait to get out on the river again. We will certainly return and would love to have Clint take us out again! Thank you Clint!
