I have had multiple dresses by Valencienne and have loved all of them! The team is very professional, happy to accommodate any changes or details, and the workmanship is unmatched. We also have had bridesmaids dresses made by her and everyone still loves them. Highly recommend!!

I am the Mother of the Bride whose daughter's wedding was just two days ago! I am still flying high over the one-of-a kind couture wedding gown that Kim and her brilliant team at Valencienne Bridal created for my daughter. Their design, creativity, quality and handiwork in fashioning a wedding gown and matching slip-on-jacket (for the ceremony) were simply perfection!!! The results were stunning! They created a visual image that can only be compared to the most elegant work of art that might be seen on the most fashionable International run-way! It was not simply a wedding gown -- it was a head-turner! The detailed, hand sewn beading throughout the gown created the image of Hollywood glamour while remaining true to the features of a wedding gown. Words can not even express the magic Kim and Sonia are!! This past weekend my best friend got married! Her dress has to be one of the most unique I have ever seen and I got to go through the whole design process with her. From the moment we met Kim at a bridal Show held at 1 King West hotel (remember bridal shows?) We knew she would be the one to make the dress. She is a visionary and fairy godmother all rolled into one. I will never understand how in spite of COVID she and Sonia were able to design and produce this spectacular dress. Everything was taken care of down to the last stand of thread and I couldn't be more impressed! Team, thank you for making Mahala's bridal dreams come true. I truly hope to get to work with you all again soon!!

From the moment I met Kim I knew this was going to be the most special experience! She took my crazy ideas and made them a reality, there was truly no way I would have been able to find anything like this anywhere else. Kim made me an amazing head piece to match my dress and had a beautiful jewelry set to match! Valencienne has truly stood the test of time… I had my wedding gown custom-made by Valencienne in 1993. Yes!!! Almost 30 years ago!!! My dream dress design was perfectly interpreted by Kim Ironmonger and exquisitely made by Sonia Martin. The dress was gorgeous - classic, elegant and surpassed my expectations. Imagine my surprise and delight when I recently discovered that 30 years later Kim Ironmonger and Sonia Martin are still a team, creating dream dresses. There were no Google reviews back then. It is my pleasure to write this one now. Valencienne, Kim and Sonia were the absolute best, and are part of my happy wedding memories to this day!

My mom and I both contacted Kim about a year before my wedding day in 2020 to create both of our dresses. I have a petite frame and the fit was absolutely KEY for me and after trying on many dresses, I knew I wouldn't be able to find a gown that would fit as well as a custom made one. My mom and I first met Kim at The Wedding Co. show just before Covid, and seeing her sitting and sketching dresses live, I knew she was the one who could make anyone's dress dreams come true! From the moment we sat at her pink marble table in her new shop and she sketched my dress, I was SO excited. It is very hard to commit to a dress you can't try on until a week before your wedding, but just seeing her design with confidence and excitement, I knew I could trust her 100%. The whole design and fitting process was easy and really really fun. Week after week, through all of Covid, the lockdowns and small openings in between, Kim stayed a constant. She made us feel completely comfortable and was such a calming and caring presence to be around, as if there was no pandemic and no shortages or difficulties getting any material (even though there absolutely was)! We trusted her completely, and I could barely prepare myself for the beauty she made!! Dearest Kim & Valencienne Team, I will never be able to fully express my gratitude to you. You have given me memories that no one else could through such difficult times. I thought my dress was beautiful during our fittings, but there was something about seeing her again on my wedding day, waiting for me to put her back on, it was like I was in my own dream. Kim, thank you for bringing the mess in my head to actual real life. When everyone saw the dress, they knew there was no other dress that would have been more perfect. It screamed me! The lace, the wings, the tulle, I almost didn't take it off. Thank you again for your dedication, time, effort, excitement, care, and love. My dress was a true unique work of art and I am so proud to support such an incredible local designer and small business right here in our own city. I couldn’t recommend Kim and the entire Valencienne team more highly to anyone looking for their dream dress and an amazing experience. They worked so diligently and dedicatedly to make me the most beautiful wedding dress I could imagine, and it was always a pleasure and so much fun going to each fitting! Valencienne is the best! Update! My full experience with Kim and Valencienne creating my bridal gown was magic!! They worked incredibly hard and diligently to make every aspect of my dress work beautifully.
