We asked Kuni to work on a laundry list of fixes/improvements to our home, including reversing the direction of a door to a flex room (it opened inward which ate up a lot of otherwise usable space). Kuni handled our requests with care and efficiency. He was punctual and professional, and the quality of the work done is excellent. We will definitely be using his services again in the future!

Kuni just completed a long list of jobs around our condo, including creating a microwave shelf, mounting our TV and all the electrical and drywall work needed, relocating knobs that were installed incorrectly and repainting the doors, amongst others. He was very honest about what he could and could not do, and offered his advice and suggestions without ever putting pressure on us to say yes. His rate is incredibly reasonable, and he also has a bit of a waitlist, which speaks for itself! We would absolutely recommend him to our friends and family, and will definitely be using his services again in the future! Thanks Kuni!

We found Kuni on Google search and asked him to do several things for us in fall of 2021, he came by several times to complete them. He is patient, careful, and reliable. He replies punctually to emails, and comes on time and works hard while he's there. He helped us regrout a small section of a bathtub, re-caulk 2 bathroom sinks, recaulk the kitchen counter, a standing shower, and our undermount kitchen sink. He fixed our cedar fence doors which were not closing properly, by shaving off some of the wood and attaching the hinges. He removed some rotted exterior window wood trim and filled a section with expoxy and trim, and painted it to match using some paint we had. He replaced a toilet flush on a fully skirted toilet, this required he remove the entire top part of the tank and flip it upside down to get at it. We had some casement window locks which had broken, and he replaced them for us. This required prying off some wood trim and then putting it all together again, sanding down the holes, and preparing them to be repainted. Finally, we had some closet shelves where the bottom of the shelf is rubbing every time you open and close it because it was bowed downwards, making it very stiff. He pried off the affected bottoms, flipped them around, and nailed them back in and they now work perfectly without rubbing. We're very pleased that Kuni was able to help us with all this work. We had to source some of the parts for him such as the toilet valve and the locks, and Kuni's very busy so it's best to be very prepared with what you want him to do. There were a few things Kuni was not comfortable doing, and he let us know up front. But anything that he can help with he is very accommodating and has good ideas on how to fix them. We're booking him to do more work this month and hope to be able to have Kuni help us out in the years ahead.

Kuni has just done some renovations for my bathroom. He was punctual, organized and professional. His work ethic is impeccable. I am extremely satisfied with his work and would recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy handyman.

I learned about Kuni from a friend of a friend. He replaced the tile around my fireplace and did a fantastic job. He was prompt, kind, easy to talk to, and efficient. I found Usagi Handyman through a google search. He was prompt in his reply to my initial email. He came by a few days later to take a quick look at the various odd jobs I had (mounting a tv on a brick fireplace, installing some lights, and hanging a medicine cabinet), and was able to fit me in earlier than originally promised. He was very professional and his work was top rate. I would go back to him for a number of jobs, I feel like he could handle a great variety of tasks. I am glad to have met this kind gentleman.

Kuni is personable, but not overly so, very good at his job, easy going and informative. The quality of the work (bathroom ceiling patch due to leaks from upstairs shower) seems very good. I have no hesitation recommending him.
