Upper Canada Fuels is now entering the Propane Business so I thought I would give them a shot. Mark Marler was extremley easy to deal with and their installers who brought the tanks were fantastic, and the driver who then delivered the fuel the next day treated me like he's known me for 20 years Very Happy with the service

I don’t even want to give this company a single star in its rating. Let this star represent the lowest possible grade I could ever give a company. I am blown away by the complete lack of regard for customer service. There is this toxic attitude that’s has somehow made its way down through the ranks... from management to the delivery persons. If you are looking for a company with even a hint of common courtesy or general decency... you will not find it here. I wish I could have recorded the conversations I’ve had with them. β€œFamily” run business means nothing if your β€œfamily” is arrogant, lazy, short-tempered and passive aggressive... THE WORST. This is the first time I have ever reviewed a company online, and it is coming from the heart.

I used Upper Canada Fuel and Burner to do a cleaning/service of my boiler, which the technician did in a thorough way. When he was done, however, he informed me that there was an error with the exhaust venting (both my hot water tank and boiler went to the same vent). I explained that both had been installed by licensed servicemen and that several other people had been at the house and never mentioned anything. He insisted it was wrong and informed me he had to turn off and seal my gas line (in the middle of February!). I protested and we had an extended discussion about turning off the gas; I contacted another technician and his main office. The office claimed the service man had the right to do that. He continued to insist he had to do it, or he would call Enbridge and they would turn off the gas for an extended time (we have 3 small children and I asked for 1 more day to get a second opinion, but he would not budge). While this was protracted discussion was happening, he contacted the Ontario Standards Division for gas and heating and waited for a response. While he waited, he turned off my gas, much to my protest. After an extended wait, he got a return call and found out he was dead WRONG! He had to stay that night to 8:00 pm to turn the gas back on for my boiler. I issued a complaint with his office to which they replied the case was being reviewed and that several other service people in his company thought what he did was probably wrong. I suggested he get training to better understand the rules and regulations of his business. Do not use them!

Thanks everyone. You saved our butts Christmas Eve. Furnace went out, Enercare who we've been paying for protection couldn't make it until the next day. -10 and dropping, called these folks and they were there in 1.5 hrs. Derek was great and thorough, made sure it was working reliably before he left. Great to know a company that actually is 24/7 emergency service. So long to ENERCARE

Can't say enough positives about this company. Gwen Thompson, the accounts manager took care of all our needs. She had Marcus deliver fuel, coordinated with Diane to send Derek to restart our furnace. We are so very grateful to all 4 of these polite but thoroughly professional employees who worked hard to keep us warm. 5 stars for Gwen, Marcus, Diane and Derek!

The company operates a self service gasoline outlet on Wolfe Island. My wife and I used their service for the first time yesterday and encountered a credit card issue that I needed to untangle. In order to accomplish that, I had to get in touch with Upper Canada Fuel and Burner. Thanks to the quick efforts of Michelle, Karen and Mike, all of whom were professional, helpful and responsive, everything was wrapped up quickly. One of the issues turned out to be our own "rookie" mistake which Mike gently pointed out to us. Great customer service! It's nice to feel valued as a customer! Now, if I could just get my credit card company to behave as well!
