★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our workplace did our Standard First Aid CPR/AED "C" with Up Beat First Aid & Safety in the spring of 2021. This is the first aid course I have ever done where I walked away feeling confident in the skills I obtained. Even with Covid protocols in place, the information was presented in a way that it was not dry or boring and dare I even say FUN. It was interactive and included discussions and scenarios. The hands on training we received was presented in a manner that was comfortable and useful. Not a second of it was awkward or uncomfortable. It flew by. Melissa was a fantastic presenter/trainer. I will recommend and rebook them any chance I get. Great work. 5 stars isn't enough!

Jodi has brought the best most current training equipment and the updated required skills to the class. I am more competent and confident FAA because of her providing the most current training equipment and supplies to use in practice. "practice doesn't make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect." Their EMR course is top-notch and the instructor Melissa is extremely knowledgeable and made sure our class had the skills and abilities to succeed in becoming competent EMR's.

Jodi is professional, direct and willing to work with anyone, as long as you are ready to get to work. Her course was engaging, with room for questions, uncertainties and funny anecdotes. I would recommend upbeat safety for anyone who wants to do any level of first aid because the skills you will learn are incredibly valuable, especially in the north.
