Unlimited Characters location is at #103 1899 Dunmore Road and operates seven days each week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sundays. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can see myself being a regular here. Welcoming atmosphere - I was greeted eith two genuinely smiling (behind masks) staff. I was directed to many options of books and was even told that jf any of the book Im looking for comes in, they'll let me know! Beats sifting through VV Boutique books in hopes of finding something you actually want. Great selection of classic, vintage, fantasy and reference. The love of books is palpable. Glad I finally stopped in!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All you'd expect from a well-run shop bringing new life to old books. My only beef is the lighting is a tad harsh. But the young fellow running it the day we stopped in was friendly & helpful. I hope business does well for them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It a really lovely place with extremely welcoming and friendly people.They also have an amazing organization of the books and a wide variety to choose from. As I'm not from Medicine Hat I recommend going to Unlimited Characters even if just passing though Medicine Hat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to this establishment a handful of times and every time I have walked out with exactly what I was looking for! The owner and the staff are always amazing and are willing to help in anyway they can. Amidst the stress of moving, I believe 70,000 books, into their new location they were still so happy to help my husband and I find what we were looking for! I can’t recommend this place enough! I will be back for the Charles dickens collection!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Are you kidding me? I'll spend so much time in there, they'll start charging me rent? Hard to find a used book store these days and I'm wicked thrilled there's one here. Staff are obviously readers themselves because they know what they're talking about and practically have a running mental inventory. Definitely recommend.

The owner is very knowledgable and my spouse was happy to see all the books he can purchase to start reading. Looking forward to their new location and making this a regular stop

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been to this store 3 times in as many weeks. Each time staff are very friendly. Books are sorted by author's last name, so if you go in with a list of books you're looking for it's easy to see if they have it or not. I just discovered the website where you can search for books as well, making that process even quicker. If they don't have what you're looking for, they'll take your name and phone number and call if they get it in. When I wasn't sure what to read next, a staff member gave me a great recommendation. Overall awesome service and atmosphere.
