Unique Dry Cleaners

We took my wife’s wedding dress here to have a stain looked at to see if they could remove it. We asked the lady roughly how much it would cost she said she didn’t know she would have to talk to the manger first we said ok can you please let us know before going ahead with it. They never got back to us my wife went to the store and they said it wasn’t done and they had to send it to a different store. She again asked how much it was going to cost still no price. We then get a phone call saying it’s done and we owe $375. We never asked to have it done we go to pick up the only to have a bill for $420 this time they said they discounted it because it was done on time. We never actually agreed to have it done. I contacted to owner who was very rude on the phone and hung up on me. I don’t know how these people are still in business. If I could have given zero stars I would have. Update: I went in to the store to speak to the owner directly who hung up on. I tried to explain to them that we only want to know how much it would cost to have the stain removed before having anything done. The owner then accused my wife of being a liar that she never asked for a price either times she spoke to them. The disrespect from this business is unreal. Please avoid at all cost. The other reviews are not from me the are from friends and family who have valid google account and are free to post what ever they like word of mouth goes a long way. I was not looking for my money back only the difference from the highest quoted price we got from 5 other dry cleaner. You showed me nothing but disrespect and rudeness. The fact that I got charged for a service you say we agreed to is a lie.

Just quick comment on the Mike's review. He seemed to be ripped off by this greedy drycleaner. Cleaning fee of the Wedding gowns has never gone up to $ 300 last year. I understand it would be around 200 when I checked with other cleaners in St. Albert and Edmonton.
