Super creative menu that was at first, intimidating. Eventually decided on their breakfast poutine which was super yummy! Portions were decent and the coffee was excellent. Menu was perhaps, a little expensive Service is excellent and fun! We love how the wait staff interact with us! The donuts are a cake style treat that resembles an old fashioned donut, but topped with decadence!

Came here on a Saturday morning, wait wasn't bad at all - about 15 minutes for 2, however, overheard that larger group of 6 had could take about 45. Not the best layout for large groups but they will definitely try to accommodate you. As for the food, what we tried was amazing. My wife and I shared the breakfast bowl (which I was told is only available on weekends) and the stuffed French toast. Both were savoury and hit the spot. Coffee was fine, and we tried a donut afterwards - didn't have a huge selection of donuts left at that time and it was just OK.

Atmosphere is nice but food is mediocre at best. Ultimate grilled cheese came with cold meatloaf and I’m not sure you can call it “grilled” cheese if the bread is soggy and not even lightly toasted. French fries are greasy and soggy. Get the home fries instead - they don’t have much flavour but they are at least cooked well. Don’t order anything with Hollandaise sauce - they make it in batch early in the morning and then it goes in the fridge. Ours came stone cold, even though they supposedly heat it back up. “Freshly squeezed OJ” is not actually freshly squeezed on site. Rather they have a supplier (similar to buying Tropicana at the grocery store). Only redeeming item on the menu is the pancakes which are fluffy and tasty and came out hot. Extra charge for real maple syrup though.

Ate here for the first time today with my hubby. Really good vibes, throwback music which I love! Service was a tad slow but it was Sunday morning and they were busy so I understood. I got the banana bread French toast lol it was sooooo good but so filling for the first meal of the day lol we will definitely be back!

Went to Uncle Betty’s on a Sunday afternoon to get a taste of the patio life after being deprived of dining for quite some time. Seems to be understaffed which is unfortunately par for the course with the restaurant industry in the city. However, everything was very tasty, well made, and the service was still good (despite being understaffed). Meatloaf dinner was very tasty, gravy was creamy and flavourful, mash potatoes were nice as well. My girlfriend got the BLT, hard to screw that up but it was still very nice. Thanks for the great meal Uncle Betty’s!

A great place to go and have a coffee or ice cream. The staff are very friendly. The place is very clean, organized and colourful.

I had a mediocre to poor experience on my first visit here. I approached a staff who was cleaning tables outside and asked if dogs were allowed on their patio. She said she was not sure and would need to confirm with someone inside. She continued to clean tables so my partner and I waited. After a couple minutes I became impatient and asked a different staff member. Dogs were allowed on the sidewalk tables, so we grabbed one. The restaurant was not very busy - maybe a half dozen tables were occupied. The staff were very preoccupied by cleaning tables (not that anyone was waiting for a clean table to be seated) and it did not seem like anyone was eager to take our order. I eventually flagged down another staff and asked if they could take our orders. My partner and I ordered a milkshake, icecream float and a waffle. The milkshake and float were very good, but felt a little overpriced for the size of the drinks. The waffle never arrived and the server provided us the bill as we were finishing our drinks. We were told we could pay whenever and there was no need to rush. I was excited to try this restaurant but the service was poor enough to leave me disappointed. The staff was very young and seemed to prioritize their cleaning duties over customer service, as if they were eager to finish their shift ☹️

Devoured my plate clean! Good portion size & tasty side salad. Sad to see that the menu has changed in the last couple of years since being here - their famous donuts were noticeably missing from the dishes on the menu. Would be higher stars but the dining service felt rushed at times & we were not asked for our vaccine passports.
