★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had such a great experience here. Another salon in the mall refused to cut my hair because the stylist wasn’t comfortable doing short cuts. The amazing and friendly stylist here listened to me and was so kind. I have a chronic disease so often things like getting a haircut are hard for me. This was so easy and so pleasant. I really love my cut!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Currently @ same Ultracuts location in St.Vital. I brought my elder mother back as a stylist did a horrible cut on her. It was a very flat style which she normally never gets. Anyways, after a couple days when her style went out. Her hair in many areas was cut way to short. It sticks out like straw not nice a couple of her friends commented it looked like a boy haircut...I agree. Managers are not in today. Current stylists agreed cut too short. I asked if there was a way to blend it better @ least. The answer I got was there was nothing they could do or have Authorization to do. I asked @ least for a credit for her? They are trying to restyle but wetting & blow drying for now. At her cost not Ultracuts?? Will contact mgmt later & that particular stylist should be made aware.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not happy how they did my sons hair wasnt aloud to be with him, i get things are different now but other places let you be with your kid to get hair cuts done and have better procedures in place during this pandemic not being able to even give instructions on how to do his hair only a brief description of what I wanted. The side are very uneven on both sides and barely any cut hair on top like i wanted. The ladies working at the front gave me rude stares and whisper to each other as if I wasn't right there looking at them. Will never come here again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ awful job. the manager decided to cut my hair and left it all chopped up. she refuses to fix it. she told me if i wanted it fixed i would have to pay again. absolutely ridiculous. my hair was all one length before. NEVER GO THERE THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. if i could give this place 0 stars i would.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure why I choose this place. It thought hey it's only a trim they can't miss that up right? Wrong! It's bad. My hair looks chopped up and blunt. Like I cut it myself. No wonder she rushed me once she was done. I thought it looked okay but once I got home I took a closer look. It's awful. Now, I'm going to find somewhere that can fix it without cutting too much off. No wonder the haircuts are cheap the hairdresser probably barely made it through beauty school or whatever courses they complete. I regret tipping her and making her believe she is good at her job.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Christine was efficient and didn't indulge in small talk. I don't like chatting in a salon, so this was exactly what I wanted. If you want a quick, fashionable hair cut, with good communication and low prices, this is the place for you.
Update: still a great place for a cut on a budget. I had a different stylist this time and she was also very good.
