Friendly and helpful staff, was able pick up and drop off my truck very efficiently. Can’t complain about the rates, made moving much easier!

They have a really bad service. One day, after the delivery of the car, I asked them to issue my invoice and say that you paid about $ 107 and that is the total cost. But about two weeks later, I was charged more than another $ 216. I am not satisfied at all and I recommend you to take the final invoice after checking the key and check again.

Excellent uHaul dealer to rent from. NEVER had an issue I regularly rent from uHaul, with mixed experiences. Some outlets really suck. But these guys are great. No issues, lots of selection. Always friendly and helpful. Thanks!

Gonna keep it super short: reserved a 26ft truck THREE MONTHS in advance only to have these β€œpeople” change our reservation TWO DAYS before our move. What is the point of a reservation if you cannot guarantee a car? Customer service was, as always, pretty awful and useless.

Terrible service, rude staff just overall the worst place to get any uhauls im not surprised but like i at least thought newmarket would have a chance guess not with this garbage company

It was terrible, I make a reservation for a pickup truck on Thursday night suppose to pick it up on Saturday morning,and they called me on Friday at 5:30pm tells me they have a pickup truck for me on Saturday because the guys before me who rented the truck didn’t return the truck, they gave me two options, 1,give me a Cargo van,2.I have to go all the way down to Thornhill location which is 30KM from me to pick it up a pickup truck and give me $50 for credit, they gonna be kidding me, call me last minute and tells me that, I don’t even have enough time to make the change, is was not my fault, I my lost a lot of money of that, because I already set up everything next day,how come they can’t send someone to bring the truck to me? Is not about that $50 credit, I even said I can pay more if they can bring the truck to Newmarket, the lady on the phone just said β€œSorry, that’s the only options”They are wasting my time , they just do whatever they want, they don’t care about customers at all,will never comes back to this location

One of the worst U-Haul locations ever. The staff are rude, the booking system was horrendous, and every time I called to try and get help I was rerouted 6 to 7 times - once even to Rhode Island! We originally booked a one-way for a 26 foot truck. When the truck was confirmed, we were told that it was going to be return to the same location for a 20 foot truck! Unfortunately, because we were moving further away from this location, it was going to be impossible to return it in the timeframe they required. At this point, they told me that I could get an extra day as long as I called one day in advance. When I tred to do this, they belligerently told me that they had another booking and couldn’t comply. They threaten to charge me for an extra day but I still had to return it at 8 AM! If I was being charged for 24 hours, (which I had no issues with), shouldn’t I get 24 hours?! The stress of trying to return the truck was absolutely unreal. My son who ended up having to return the truck, and trying to do us a favor, filled the gas to full when we had taken the van at half a tank. We asked if you could get reimbursed for this which incidentally was $150, we were told they do not refund for extra gas! Absolute highway robbers. Would never return to this location and highly recommend you find another one to get your truck.

Are they incompetent or criminal? My preorder pickup was arranged as a drop off at location. Day before the move they force me to pickup at a different location then return to the same location forcing major inconvenience twice the driving plus reorganizing another ride and cost. They offered $50.00 for the major inconvenience then refused to pay it. On top of that they then charged my card for another rental day even though it was returned same day with picture proof. During online return they also tried to charge us extra for gas even though it was returned exactly as requested. If you return in office they charge another fee to talk to somebody. This is a convenience fee. Do business anywhere else. Update: newmarket Uhaul reimbursed the extra day rental they over charged us. Head office still has not reimbursed the $50.00 fee they promised. Too bad companies have to behave like this. It’s clearly intentional and a part of their business model to boost revenues.
