★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered ice cream and had to throw the entire order out and try not to throw up after finding disgusting dried and dirty icecream pieces in our plain vanilla and swirl icecream.. which I would guess is from the machines not being cleaned. I asked for a refund and was offered a gift card that expired at the end of the month. I told them I wanted an actual refund and I wasn't spending money there again after that. I should not have had to insist.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dunno what the deal is, use to be my go to, now I can't find a reason to go back... My last visit, had the upside down banana split.... After swatting flies off me while watching flies land on the topping bar, I recieved my ice cream, the pineapple was turned bad. Completely inedible. I suggest trying a little harder, the flies were gross. The pineapple was the breaking straw. I won't be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a blue raspberry sundae on tuesday May 10th and my mom had a red raspberry sundae with hot fudge. Our ice cream treats were delicious. Twisters will always be my favourite ice cream shop in Brandon. ❤

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I typically don't expect much from a local ice cream shop. They usually offer the bare bones of ice cream options: ice cream cones and maybe sundaes.
On first glance it appears that Twisters tried to compete against Dairy Queen, as the menu selection shown on the wall was quite varied. And, based on the way the store was inside, it appears they didn't win.
The lighting was dark on the one wall, and the service was okay at best. It has the appearance that they may not open their doors one day...that they are just barely hanging on.
I do hope that they stick around. We ordered the Upside-down Banana Split and a Twister....and it didn't disappoint.
