I just got my 3 pieces back, beautifully framed and ready to hang. Even in the time of Covid, without stepping foot in the shop, we were able to come up with the perfect mats and frames. Couldn't be happier!

Shona was a panelist at one of the Beyond Business Events at The ProBiz Centre. She's also rented our space for a drumming workshop. She is an extremely organized, kind, warm, and generous person who's always around to help!

My wife and I were renovating our house and came across some old newspaper clippings from the 50s that we thought were pretty cool and worth keeping. We decided we wanted to frame them and put them on display for our guests to see. At first we talked about going to Michael's and using our store credit , but then we decided we wanted to support local business in Stony Plain and decided to take them to TwiLite Framing. I went in and chose out the frame, and matting and how I wanted the clippings layed out. We waited patiently for what seemed like a long time and were really excited when we got the call that it was ready for pick up. Being that I work during business hours, my wife picked up the finished product. She noticed one imperfection upon pickup, and then numerous others upon arriving at home 4 blocks away. She showed me when I arrived home from work and we decided to bring back it in to show the owner to ask if it could be fixed or for some form of compensation. There is a bubble in the glass, a chip in the wood frame over an inch long, the clippings are crooked and not even parallel with the matting/ border within the frame and they are laminated inside the frame and the plastic laminating over the clippings is so wrinkly that it distracts from the articles and even makes them difficult to read depending on where you are standing. When my wife brought the frame back in to TwiLite to show the owner the things that were concerning us, she argued with my wife and told her "that is the way your husband wanted it to be" and that the clippings must have shifted when we hung it on the wall. When my wife asked her if there was anything she could do for us, she refused to do anything and shrugged her shoulders and said "it is what it is." It cost us $460 that to frame these clippings, so we believe we deserve a quality product at that price. We even had 1 guest comment that it looked like we framed it ourselves. Needless to say, we are not satisfied with our experience and cannot recommend TwiLite Frames for their products or services.

I recently had some art framed at Twilite Frames and had the most wonderful experience. I didn’t catch the name of the woman helping me out but she was lovely and so helpful with suggestions for the type of frame and colour and size of matting to best enhance the piece of art. We took our time going over various options and she was very informative. I never felt like I was rushed in making a decision. The framing turned out even better than I could have imagined. It looks beautiful and you can see the high quality in their work. I will definitely be back with more of my art to have framed. Thank you so much for making my first custom framing experience a great one!

Shona not only beautifully framed this part of my story, I could feel her love for it as well. She has a passion for everything she does and I am so happy that she is apart of this very important part of my story.
