★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is purely because of Mags and the way she took care of us. My partner and I booked a table for dinner, it was our first time and we were really looking forward to it. Upon arrival we were seated straight away on the mezzanine level and our server Jamie greeted us immediately. We decided to order the chili prawns to start and the smoked salmon pizza for our main. Our starter came out pretty quickly and it was absolutely delicious. The dish was served with a slice of toasted focaccia bread. I was enjoying the dish so much that I asked if it were possible to get another slice of focaccia. Understandably so it's only served in twos when requested separately so I said I would leave it. Our plate was removed and no more than 5 minutes later another server was bringing the Forna starter to our table. Now I hadn't ordered that. She takes it away and our server is back with the same dish telling me I ordered this item, which I didn't and said as much. 20 minutes after that, no sign of our pizza. I flag down Jamie and he advises he'll go check. When he returns he says it's on it's way. Another 15 minutes passes and no sign of our pizza. This time I flag Mags and explain the situation. She checks straight away and returns advising the order for the pizza was never placed. Now I'm annoyed at this, but she secures our pizza for us within 10 minutes and it was delicious! Mags looked after us for the rest of the night including offering a discount for all the waiting. We will definitely be back. Just for her!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered three pasta entrees for two adults to share. The food was delicious. Best gnocchi I’ve had in a while. But oof- those portion sizes are small. Three entrees and we still cracked open a pack of ramen afterward.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for dinner and was blown away. From food to service, everything was fantastic. Mags and Poppy took excellent care of us, and the kitchen made sure every single thing we ordered was perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a nice pizza place in Bowen Island. The restaurant is at a walking distance from the port and is not easy to miss. My friend and I ordered an "all-meat " pizza with salad. The salad was superb but the pizza was on the salty side. There's just two sizes available, small or large. Customer service is good. They took our orders even though it was 10 minutes before closing time. We ate our food by the nearby picnic ground and the ambience was perfect. However, I recommend that you make a reservation ahead of time if you are going on a date night. The restaurant's ambience sets for a romantic one.
They do follow strict covid protocols.
I recommend trying this place when you visit Bowen! It's worth the try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve ordered the vegan version of their funghi pizza a couple of times now and it’s fantastic! We can’t recommend too highly. The only downside is that it’s so good that we haven’t tried any of their other pizza options, but if the mushroom one is any example they will also be delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food and atmosphere. Both the pizzas and the appetizers we ordered were incredible, and we really enjoyed our visit. Where there could be some improvement is the reservation system (or staff communication with patrons).
