I interviewed with these folks about a year ago and, wow, is there room for improvement.
While they have great recruiters like Andreen, there are people like Peter.
When I questioned their practice of asking for the candidate's DOB (private information when someone isn't even being hired), he was not very cooperative in explaining why. It was like pulling teeth. Eventually I learned that their client, Telus, uses people's DOB for their SID number? In my opinion, that's quite intrusive...getting the names and DOB of all the applicants/candidates??
Not to mention their website. You put in the keyword "Calgary" and you get jobs for Calgary and Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal. True, sometimes the posts are for several locations, so it makes sense. But in some instances, the position comes up and it has nothing to do with Calgary.
Also, for email notifications the "relevant" jobs were not reliable. In one instance, the position was located in Houston..!?
This agency has some amazing clients, but my experience has unfortunately shown that their service to applicants falls short in professionalism and in delivering results.

Waiting for my 15hrs worth of work that hasn’t been paid yet! I Guess that’s how they make extra money to rob their employees hard earned money!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was hired here to work at a long term care facility. I fell in love with my job but was on contract with tundra. They don't train people on how to submit time sheets so they bank on people making mistakes. They didn't pay me on time and when I asked to get paid they told me I had to wait two weeks. They didn't fix my time sheets so I didn't get responsibility Pay, weekend premiums, I told him I wanted my money as soon as possible and not in two weeks. I called the labor board to know if I was in the right which I was. I submitted two complaints to the labor board 1 for not paying me another for firing me when I told them to pay me and they fired me. I also reported them to the CRA. Not a good experience with this company at all. The owners are so disrespectful and rude. He called me and was yelling at me because he didn't want to deal with my payment situation on his day off. Sorry buddy that's your job! I worked for another agency maplehomecare solutions they were okay still also had trouble paying people on time. But they were really nice at least.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was hired with tundra on a contract term in a long term facility. I worked my first three day which of I did not get paid for because they had sent me my time sheet info past the due date to submit the times. They took no accountability for this and when I tried to reach out to the recruiter he did not respond to my emails and his phone would always go to voicemail. Then I only got paid one week out of the two I worked and when I threatened to got to the labour board he all of a sudden was able to read his emails and phoned me within 3 minutes of the email I sent. The company is very unprofessional and unwilling to work with the employees. It seems once they place you on a site they are no longer accountable for anything. Absolutely do not recommend working for them.
