★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great, modern arena, with good heating in the stands and sizable dressing rooms. A wonderful outdoor pool with a waterslide ( only open in summer)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a town the size of Virden, this is an excellent facility. Everything is in good condition and clean. There is plenty of parking. Excellent place for a hockey game, a wedding or anything else you need a large space for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nicely built new Center with a clean foyer, the usual canteen that exists at every arena, and a hall to rent out for events. Only confusing part is the bathroom entrance, one entrance and a fork between it. Can hardly see where the men’s sign is unless you crank your next to the right.
Lots of ample parking. Bulletin board looks updated recently with no old or outstanding ads/notices.
Bright with high ceilings.
No signs leading to the arena. Must use maps or have previous knowledge/directions to the Center.
Overall one of the better arenas/sports complexes I’ve seen in a while within a small town. Good job Virden.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice arena. Comfortable to watch the games. Also has a walking path open at times (will need to check hours). As with all arenas. Food and drinks are over priced. 3 bucks for 12 ounces of hot chocolate. For that reason they don't get higher stars.
