Although it may be expensive, people actually learn a lot. Unlike many other schools, perquisites are required to take some courses. They actually care about improve their students' math skills instead of just trying to earn money. However, they do put a lot of pressure on their students. The way they work is that they separate it by "levels". For the lower levels, they also have enriched classes. Don't be alarmed if your child cannot get into the enriched classes. Very few do. If your child is not qualified he/she will just lag behind anyways.

My son Grade 6 has improved a lot both in knowledge and new strategies since he attended TT Math School 3 months ago. He feels enthusiastic and eager to learn in this teacher- friendly and rule-strict school. I strongly recommend this school should be the best choice for math study! Wish TT Math School a better future!

TTmath is a high quality school has high quality teacher and high quality curriculum. My son has been with TTmath for years. His math skill and thinking skill has been improved dramatically. As a parent I wish I have sent my child to TTmath earlier as their curriculum really design and arrange based on child's development on math sense and thinking level.

To begin, I think it's important to state that this is my personal experience. I will include some information about myself that I believe is relevant to this review. I am currently a rising 10th grader, and I attended TTMath during both 7th and 8th grade. I took L1 and L2 (in person) as well as foundation in the summer before 9th grade (taken online due to Covid-19). I am a straight A student (all my marks are above 90) at a private school in Toronto, and I am in the advanced math class (one year ahead of the Ontario curriculum). 1. Teachers All the teachers I've had at TTMath were very nice, and I really liked them as a person. However, I did feel that some things were not taught well. It just felt like seeing the teacher solve questions on the board without fully explaining the concepts. 2. Content My understanding is that, TTMath teaches competition math and it is American math. American math is a lot more advanced than Canadian math. On top of that, TTMath teaches these new concepts at a fast rate. It may be difficult for students to understand if they lack a strong foundation. 3. Environment This section of the review is a lot more subjective. It felt like classrooms were not fully welcoming to questions. Many of the students who attend TTMath take math else where, which can explain why a lot of younger elementary students are able to take high school math. This made me personally feel very awkward asking questions, since I was a lot older than my peers yet they understood when I did not. This was a personal thing; however, I wanted to mention this as some people take environment/atmosphere into consideration when choosing courses. Another thing is that, as mentioned before, TTMath teaches at a fast pace. Sometimes, that meant asking questions would delay the agenda for the entire class. This stressed me out a lot. Again, it's a personal thing, but I think it's something to consider. I know Piazza is the platform used for questions, though I found it hard to navigate. At the time that I was enrolled in TTMath, no tutorial of how to use Piazza was ever taught to students. The environment is also somewhat competitive. There is a WeChat group that discuss test marks publicly between parents. While low-scoring students were not mentioned in public announcements in these WeChat groups, it can easily be inferred who did well and who did not. To my knowledge, anyone who scored above 100 (out of 120) would be congratulated in the chat. 60 (50% of 120) is the passing mark. Personally, I never did well in TTMath tests/exams, so these WeChat group announcements were a huge blow to my self-esteem. Especially when my mom would compare my mark to those who did well. 4. Final Verdict I believe TTMath can be helpful to those who want to improve their math skills. However, you must already have a very strong foundation in math to begin with. By a strong foundation, I mean being anywhere from one to three years above your grade in math (this will vary depending on your grade and what course you're taking). Otherwise, you may start falling behind or finding yourself putting in a ridiculous amount of time and effort to understand course content. Once you start doing badly, it may become a downward spiral. This is something that happened to me as well as many of my friends who I have spoken to that attended TTMath. This is a situation you want to avoid. The reason why I did not give TTMath a two star rating (which is what I would personally give based on my own experience) is because I have a younger sister who is currently still enrolled in TTMath. She started with Beast Academy, and she is doing a lot better than I was during my time at TTMath. She has built a strong foundation, and TTMath will be of use to her in the future. To summarize, TTMath is a fast-paced advanced math school that is beneficial if you have a very strong math foundation and are looking to build on top of that. If you lack the foundation, I recommend you start somewhere else before beginning TTMath.

I just started at TT Math in the summer and I've really enjoyed the classes. The teachers care about how the students are progressing and make the content easy to understand. It's also a very good atmosphere for meeting others who are interested in math.

The courses offered at TTMath school can meet all math students' needs. The course materials extend from the Ontario curriculum to competitive math. The school teachers are very knowledgeable and patient with students. Free homework help sessions are available for all students. Students from TTMath receive top results from many math competitions every year, which encourages the youth to strive further. We are proud to be TTMath students!

TTmath School offers math courses to kids aging 6 years and above. They help kids build strong and solid math foundations that are sufficient for school math studies and essential for math competitions if the kids are interested. These courses are both offered in person and online, so students outside of Toronto area can also access TTMath's learning resources. It's truly a wonderful feeling to finally have found the right resources to satisfy my needs. Thanks!
