★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a wonderful place to do your laundry or drop it off and have the full service treatment and if your looking to have your clothes altered , alterations are also available. Liela is a wonderful owner and kind and caring. Now specifics , There are 7 heavy duty dryers 1 unfortunately is inoperable.$.025 for 3.5 minutes do not exceed 8 quarters. There are two heavy duty washing machine with an extra cycle 4 $2 coins per machine = $8 . For 30 minutes. There are 14 washing machines no second cycle 3 are inoperable. They take $3 in $1 coins . There is a sitting area, they accept cash to give you coins for laundry.
My laundry comes out cleaner and fresher every time and I use the heavy duty washing machine that has a second cycle. I love this place.
I do a lot of laundry and I mean a lot for me it's $25.00 to do a month's worth of laundry heavy duty washing.
I love it!!
I highly recommend this place, I have been coming here for a year and it's great everytime
Wear a mask , stay 2meters a part and you can leave your washing and go get coffee no one will take your clothes ..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super old machines with little in the way of settings or timers. Some of the dryers make your clothes smell like rancid oil so be careful of the ones by the front door. Ive only ever seen the owner once so make sure to bring change (3x$1 for washers and 3.5 min/$0.25 for dryers) with you. But on the plus side it’s rarely ever busy so there’s no need to fight for machines or deal with screaming children

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall the place is old but it can lack all the modernity because it's the only game in town.
Bring loonies for the regular washers at $3 per wash. Bring twoonies for the large washer at $8 per wash. The dryer takes up to 8 quarters with each quarter giving you 3.5 minutes.
The washers were acceptable and the whole cycle completed in about 25 minutes. The dryer was super hot and dried two full regular washers with one dryer with 8 quarters. I did a large load of towels in the large washer and it took the dryer closer to 45 minutes to dry the whole load.
Tl:dr bring coins and ideally wash at home and just dry there. That's your best value.

As someone who strongly believes in supporting local small businesses, I've been coming to this rundown laundromat on my way to and from the island for a year. I've happily taken my business elsewhere - tolerated a couple of incidents such as coins getting stuck etc... the last straw being told how many clothes per machine and being threatened I'd have to pay her if the old machine broke down... holy micro-management ! As a small business owner myself, I finally realize sometimes it's OK to not support a local small business based on their conduct !
