★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mark Gendy from TRS approached me in 2016 about the possibility of working together as we looked to grow our rail services business across Canada. I was very transparent with Mark that we needed three things from a preferred vendor. First off, they needed to understand that our work is construction related, and as such, things can change without warning. TRS would need to be able to flex with us through these sometimes challenging and sudden shifts. Secondly, they needed to understand that our market segment is extremely competitive and talent coming into our organization needs to thrive in this dynamic. And lastly, that we prefer to work with a small number of vendors who want to build a long-term relationship that promotes a richer appreciation of our business and culture, enhancing the overall quality of work. Our transparency and partnership from that day has only grown. I am pleased to say that TRS and Universal Rail Systems continue to foster a partnership that spans across Canada. I have personally found Mark and his team to demonstrate a high degree of urgency and integrity in the work they have done with us over the years. True to our original conversation in 2016, TRS has been a strong, trusted partner and I would highly recommend anyone with a resource need to sit down and talk with this group.
