I HIGHLY recommend. Yesterday, while driving back to London, my car’s battery light came on while passing through the Powassan area. I immediately googled the closest place and this was it. I was a bit frantic, and they took my car in right away. Kevin quickly explained exactly what was wrong, showed me the part that had literally ripped out of my car, and was not condescending in the least. He explained that he wouldn’t be able to get the part until the next morning and then he gave me a ride to a Tim Hortons almost 30 minutes away, in North Bay, so that my parents could pick me up. I’ve never in my life had such exceptional customer service. Thank you!

about 6 weeks ago, I went over to Trout Creek Tire, to look at snow tire treads, (1st trip) with it in mind to buy Goodyear snows. Kevin the owner, took time with me and convinced me to buy Cooper snows, for my Ranger truck. When the tires came in, I dropped off my old snows on rims, (2nd trip) to have the new tires installed, studded, and balanced. I went back when the tires were done (3rd trip) and brought them home to install on the truck myself, as I am a retired mechanic, and prefer to use a torque wrench on rims, which is now law in Ontario any way. I don't drive much, and a week later I noticed a tire had gone flat, so I filled it and went back to Trout Creek Tire. (4th trip) The folks there checked it, the rim was leaking , so they broke the tire down, cleaned the rim, and installed it back on my truck. When I insisted on the use of the torque wrench, the people were visibly annoyed, but used one, shaking the entire truck tightening the wheel. Now, most of my driving is on back roads, but I had reason to drive up the highway the next day, and realized the truck had a bad shake from the rear tires. I went back to Trout Creek tire (5th trip) to explain this, and felt again, that the owner and the staff who questioned me, were annoyed with my being there. I made an appointment for the next week to have the tires checked, and was warned that I would have to pay $40.00 to re-balance the tires. I called and cancelled the appointment that afternoon, and took my truck elsewhere for the balance to be checked. The tires were off slightly, not much, but spinning the left rear tire it was obvious the tire was a defect and it was out of round, causing the truck to 'jump'. I took the tire off, and put one of my old summer tires on, and the shaking was gone. So I went back to Trout Creek Tire, (6th trip) and explained what had transpired, including my getting them balanced at another shop. The owner was not happy, they spun the tire up and admitted it was faulty, and thankfully Cooper agreed to come good, for the brand new defective tire. I had to leave the tire there, and they called once the new replacement tire had arrived. I went over to pick up the tire, (7th trip) and was informed that I would have to pay to stud the new replacement tire as Cooper would not pay for this. I explained that I did not think this fair, as had the fellow that installed the tire in the first place been paying any attention at all, he would have seen the tire was a defect, and told the owner, and it would not have been sold to me. Either that or they knew, and thought me stupid enough to not notice. So, on top of what I had paid for a set of new Cooper tires, it cost me $38.00 to have 2 of them re-balanced at another shop, $28.00 +change to get my free replacement tire studded, and my gas costs for 7 trips to Trout Creek tire, say $40.00 for my gas, not counting my time. Now the rear tires are ok, I find the fronts are shaking slightly, so will have to pay the other shop another $38.00 to balance the front tires. So I am out about $142.00 basically because I bought tires at Trout Creek Tire. I am going to need new summer tires next spring, and had I not had to pay for the re-studding I still had intentions on going to Trout Creek tire for these, now, I doubt it. I will go back to Huntsville Walmart, where I have always been treated well, when buying tires.

Thank you so much Trout Creek Tire! Visiting a dear friend in Powasson, we found a flat tire on the van with a nail in it. We arrived by Griffith Bros Towing at 5 p.m. (They close at 5. ) My friend had informed Kevin that we trying to head home to Hamilton before bad weather came. He and his team were so nice. They replaced my tire and had us on our way within a half hour! They were friendly and professional and they had stayed pass close to take care of us. THANK YOU! ( and they didnt empty my bank account!)

Was struggling finding a place to switch my tires in the North Bay area for 2 weeks. This guys done the full job with rotation of tires and oil change under 200$ and under an hour. I gotta say they are very professional people and know their trade for sure. P.s.: As I promised to you guys I'll do a little review and a rating. Great job, keep it up. 5 out of 5

We had an excellent experience here. I called Trout Creek Tire when we busted our tire, and even though it was a statutory holiday and they were technically closed, Kevin offered to open up his shop to help us out. Within 15 minutes of our arrival, Kevin had fixed our problem and charged us a very reasonable rate. The service was very professional and courteous and I would highly recommend it!

I have worked in this shop and I know first hand Kevin and Ken are honest men. its difficult to find a good shop with honest mechanics and as an apprentice I never seen crooked work or lies coming out of here. Kevin hired me even though I was a woman and they treated me like they would any other apprentice. They taught me a lot! the rates are very reasonable and I actually still bring my own car to this shop for things I can not do myself like alignments and installation of tires. I highly recommend this shop ! its a bit of a drive but well worth it. they wont try and sell you things you do not need . I quit because I was changing career paths but no animosity or anything between us at all. top notch service and grate rates !!!!
