About Triwood Community Association
The vision of the Triwood Community Association is to serve as the heart of our community. Our mission is to dedicate ourselves to representing the community interest, fostering participation and embracing community spirit.
The Association directly offers programming such as art classes, soccer, summer camps and fitness. Our facilities are also home to several other organizations, who are providing our communities with seniors programming, daycare, ringette, hockey, softball, dance, scouts and more. The Triwood arena offers public member skating and our volunteers maintain an outdoor rink for community use during the colder months! Bot the Triwood hall and arena offer rental spaces for members as well as the greater community.
June to September, Triwood hosts an outdoor farmer's market on Tuesdays from 3-7pm. The Association also hosts seasonal markets and community events (such as Stampede breakfast and holiday celebrations) throughout the year. JT’s Clubhouse is an all-ages restaurant and lounge available to our members Monday to Thursday evenings from 4pm-10pm. Free Memberships are available to anyone would like to be a part of our active community!
The upkeep of our facilities are supported by the City of Calgary’s Community Capital Conservation Grant and The Province of Alberta’s Community Facility Enhancement Program. We would like to extend our ongoing thanks to both the City and the Province for their yearly support of our critical facility improvement projects.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If the rating is like hotels, where there's a 7 star, the chef/ catering from the Triwood Community Centre then it would be it, 7 wonderful stars! My cousin's wedding was held there yesterday. In attendance was our close knit family, friends along with the newly wed's colleagues. I just want to say how INCREDIBLY SCRUMPTIOUS and filing the food were! The appetizers (Smoked Salmon bites and dumplings) served while the bride and groom had their photo shoot were really good. Yet, the dinner it self was a whole different level of goodness. My personal fave from the dinner is THE chicken! Don't get me wrong, EVERYTHING WAS GREAT but THE CHICKEN is AMAZING! And this says a lot as my family is a family of foodie's and that I normally do not post google reviews unless the food were such a delight to consume.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Older facility. Hockey rink is weirdly proportioned, smaller than standard. Concrete floor is very slippery, ceiling is low, very hot (at least in the summer.) nice dressing rooms, (size and proximity to the rink.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the better arenas in the city (by comparison to others). Dressing rooms are large and decent viewing options for spectators. WiFi is good. Decent areas of you have to tow along babies or very young children. Parking isn't great though. Try to arrive earlier. Concession is limited.

Triwood was the perfect venue the main room is very big and perfect for social distancing the big windows allow natural lighting to brighten the room and the staff are very professional and were very accommodating. It is the perfect blank canvas to decorate however you want !And to top it all off the food was DELICIOUS the best wedding food I’ve ever had! Our family and friends could not stop talking about the teriyaki chicken! I would highly recommend this venue for any type of event. It’s perfect !
