T	Tami Johnson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lady at the front desk was nice, but that's where it ended. We booked there because there were reviews that it was clean. We went into our room and it smelled like stinky feet, there were stains all over the rug and the bathroom smelt like pee. When we flushed the toilet, it almost overflowed everytime. We were in a room at the back and there is no real parking spaces. We just parked sideways in front of our door. The back was very poorly lit, which was scary taking the dog out in the middle of the night (there was a partial fence and then tall grass and trees). The TV kept going dim and had lines going through it. I wasn't expecting much, but was expecting more than what we got. I really do not recommend this motel.

N	N B (Femme_fintale) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please stay here over the sandman... rooms are decent, clean, hot water, staff was super nice. I stay in mcbride for sledding, this is the only place I'll stay! Stayed at the sandman once and really regreted it!!

Staff lied about the rooms and implied they do not clean between guests which I could absolutely believe because everything in the room was dirty and stained. Including the beds, carpets and dishes. The staff entered our room even with the do not disturb sign out,, they were completely unapologetic when I brought up these issues. The entire stay with them was gross and unprofessional, we ended up leaving early even though we had payed for the whole stay. I will never stay here again nor will I recommend it to anyone. Very disappointing. The staff also bounced us around rooms, claiming the room I paid for couldn't have animals, due to carpets, they downgraded us to a completely carpeted room, when inquiring about it they reluctantly moved us to the bigger room I had paid for only for it to be less carpeted and very dirty. If I could rate 0 stars I would have.
Y	Yuri Yamaguchi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has a bed, shower, heat - got exactly what I expect and need from a motel. Towels were a little thin and worn but more than sufficient to dry off so no problem. Wifi seemed a little sluggish so I jumped off and just used data. Bed was fine. Saw no hygiene issues with the room. Lots of sledders staying here in the winter! Guy at front desk was actually very pleasant and nice. Would totally stay here again if I needed a motel in McBride.
