★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful outdoors. Trail network on the dikes. Suitable for walking and biking; the river is nice for kayaking. Lots of wild life, such as herons, bears, fox and eagles. As the world dyke already suggests, all flat and easy to manage for all age groups. On sunny days it gets hot, since shade is not available.
Especially on weekends it can get very busy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Try the 19 km loop this trail has to offer or just part of this trail system. Easy walking and biking on this wide, flat trail which takes you through Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge. Easy walking or biking for people of all ages. Also great for kayaking and canoeing with the slow flowing river system. Don’t forget to bring your dog all lots of areas to access the water for Fido to take a swim. Can be busy at the parking lots but also parking on the road. Outhouses available at this parking location. Enjoy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place for kayaking, the water is really calm and lots of birds, saw a bear have a swim as well. Rate it 4 stars, not enough parking and the water not clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for a paddle with an abundance of wildlife, sealife and locals jumping from bridges into the river. Great scenery and great day out. Parking is a bit tight FYI

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place for a paddle! Park nearest the street for easier access to the makeshift boat launch. Bit of in incline down to the water made it difficult to get my kayak in solo - the 9 yr old wasn't much help but he had a blast paddling around with his mama, then even more fun watching the local boys bridge jumping into the water.
