M	Marta Kocemba on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our winter cottage stay was everything I could have asked for! The cottage itself is spacious, beautifully built, and the interior is so well decorated. There is such a warm, cozy atmosphere inside, and it is relaxing just to hang out and take in the surroundings. The location of the cottage is great too, and we were easily able to pop in to Bancroft for a dinner and snowshoe at a nearby trail and lookout point (Eagle's Nest). Absolutely would be happy to visit again in the future!

My 2 yr old son enjoyed playing by the water and the we enjoyed the pedal boat and canoe. of course our vacay is not complete without campfire and this place has 2! Highly recommended. This log cabin is grand!

Cottage was very clean and Andrea was a fantastic host who was very responsive to all my excessive emails. ? We plan on going back again and will continue going back into the foreseeable future. Don't miss out! This cottage is awesome! You will not be disappointed! Thanks Andrea for a wonderful time!

The property is breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful. The lake is perfectly sandy, quiet and peaceful. The canoes and pedal boat were perfect for enjoying the water. The cottage is huge, beautifully decorated and cozy. We really enjoyed the indoor fireplaces when the weather didn't cooperate for us outside. The large dining table was perfect for games and dinners. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed (and then some). The beds were comfortable and there was tons of space for all. Bancroft is close-by which made groceries easy and we enjoyed a meal at the brewpub and a stop at Eagle's Nest (highly recommend both). Andrea and Jason put the guest experience first and were very responsive and helpful both prior to and during our stay. They have truly thought of everything. I would highly recommend the cottage and hope to return one day :)

The cottage itself is very picturesque and is beautiful inside and out. There are lots of outdoor activities (canoeing, swimming, etc.) as well as indoor activities (movies, board games, etc.). It is definitely one of the best places we’ve booked and we look forward to booking it again!

I've been coming here for the past 5 years in November for the rally races but this was the first time coming when the weather was nice and the boys were blown away by both the appearance and overall awesomeness. It was a fantastic experience we are now looking to use this place yearly for a guys weekend getaway spot. Spacious, lots of sleeping space, gorgeous view and nice calm water. We love this place and will definitely be coming back. Thanks again, Andrea. You'll be hearing from us again soon.

From the awesome log structure and the festive holiday decorations, to the comfy beds and fireplaces everything was perfect. We skated on the lake, sledded down the hill and played games at the huge ding table. We are so glad to have found this place!

Andrea and Jason have done an amazing job making this cottage feel homie and welcoming. In the kitchen you can find every dish, utensil, small appliance you can think of. I’ve stayed in many cottages that only have a couple plates and cutlery so I brought everything with me and didn’t even have to unpack any of it. If you are looking for a getaway or a week long vacation I highly recommend staying here. I will be booking again for sure!!!
