There is a reason this place is highly rated. Modern restaurant. Great food presentation. Tons of sushi options. Great customer service. It was my first time here. I asked the reception for assistance and they were very helpful in providing info on their menu items. I ordered the popular Kirin Futumaki and Crouching Tiger which were wonderful. Overall, I think I found my new favorite sushi place in Vaughan. Thank you Toro Toro Team!

Toro Toro is a busy spot for premium sushi. I stopped by around 5 pm on the Monday of the Family Day Weekend and the place was totally packed. All the tables were filled and there was also a bit of a line up to place your orders. And, the wait for takeout was now 30 minutes. Everyone was understanding and waiting patiently. I placed my orderForbidden Roll (seared butterfish and crab stick) has a bit of sweetness from the mango but I enjoyed the seared fish. I also ordered Classic Tuna Poke Bowl ($15) and was impressed with all the toppings which included edamame beans, pineapple, pineapple, cucumbers, and seaweed salad, avocado and more with warm seasoned rice. I liked the sauces which was topped with ponzu, spicy & Japanese mayo with Teriyaki sauces. The presentation of all the rolls are amazing. My favourite has to be the Tataki Maki with seared Yellowtail with Tempura. I especially enjoyed how it was topped with jalapeΓ±o which gave it a bit of heat. The Kirin Fotomaki is cooked shrimp topped with crispy Yam strings and the Hidden Dragon is Seared Unagi with Tamago (egg) topped with yam strings. Unfortunately the Yam Strings were too much for this roll and I found it overpowered the taste and texture of the eel. But overall I enjoyed the sushi and loved the presentation of the rolls to the beautiful black box. I would definitely come back to order more. My first experience here was great, I made a dinner reservation on the website five hours in advance, the staff was friendly and the people inside the store seemed to be working efficiently as there were many take out orders at the front desk. I ordered a total of four classic and most popular ones, moderately priced and just the right portion size, my favorite being the summer roll, crunchy without rice being healthy. There's a mango one that's a wonderful texture, so I guess it's the new style of sushi! Anyway, I enjoyed it and will try the others next time.

I got the tasting box for two and it did not disappoint! I ordered online and picked up in store. The process was quick and easy. I loved the packaging and overall presentation of the food. Everything was so delicious and flavourful - I didn't need to use any of the sauces, just some wasabi to spice it up ^^. The salmon was fresh and had a great melt-in-your-mouth texture to it. 10/10 would recommend! ?

Went to this place at the recommendation of my roommate and was NOT disappointed. I ordered a poke bowl and a six-piece set of sushi for dinner and was impressed. the order came out under ten minutes which is considered quite quick for dinner time. The ambience is great for a middle-high end take-out joint. You can see the chefs make the poke bowl and sushi which adds to the restaurant experience. I had the classic poke with tuna which was pretty good. The tuna sushi with 24k gold leaf was amazing. Overall, the sushi here is a must try and the poke bowl (at least the one I had) was good. Come here and see what you like, but don't miss out on the sushi!

Tried this spot or a week ago. Poke and sushi place across from Vaughan Mills. It's very nicely decorated inside, very modern and clean. Like some already mentioned, these people are busy! There were easily 40 bags on the counter waiting for pick up. However that did not extend our wait time. They are also really well staffed. We ordered a crispy chicken poke bowl and a fantasy roll. Both were delicious. I wish poke bowl had a bit more sauce though as the rice was practically plain. Their rolls are on a smaller side but the taste is absolutely delicious and it's priced lower which makes total sense. Will definitely be back when we are in the area.

I ordered The Forbidden and Lobster Tower to go. First time there and I was impressed with the sleek, modern looking interior. It was very busy on a Sunday night, people dining in, taking out and picking up and for this reason, I think the service lacked and not welcoming because they were so busy. Food was delicious! It was fresh and had nice layers of flavours. A bit different texture and flavour than your typical sushi. Very satisfying. A bit pricey but you get some really top notch packaging ;)

Easily some of the best and most innovative sushi I’ve ever had! Consider it more like a casual food bar where you place your order and go pick it up and sit and eat wherever, but the presentation of the food and the taste is exquisite! It’s definitely on the pricier side but well worth it!
