★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I returned an rented instrument 4 days after the charging date but they failed to give me any refund, and they didn't even mention it. Other stores like L&M just refund me at any time I want to return. Never rent any instrument at this store.

When they have to deal with Big Boy Problems, it seems their masks affect their brains because they cannot deliver basic customer service. Never going to this place again, and there is many more of us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A candy store for music enthusiasts. Huge selection of acoustic and electric instruments, accessories and sheet music. Friendly and helpful staff. Good prices too. Parking somewhat limited at times, especially during drop off and pick up for music lessons.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has awful Customer Service, which I rely on in my Older Age. Wanted to know about MIDI Controllers to upgrade piano, and no one seems to care to help me. When they finally did, they were not helpful at all, rushing the sale rather than helping me.
Now I hear my friend has been treated like a fool, telling her that you do not need a Power Chord for her keyboard, even though it is quite necessary this being a larger unit.
Customer Service this bad will not be tolerated, we will get more people to come out and speak against your bad treatment of Customers. All things that can be easily fixed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve shopped at Tom Lee Richmond and many other music stores for the better part of 20 years. The Richmond location is smaller than some of the Vancouver music stores but their selection and service is top notch.
I recently purchased a used Fender Player Stratocaster for a great deal and their friendly and helpful staff gave me an in-depth look at the instrument so that I could get a good idea of the condition and level of use. I wasn’t ready to buy on the spot and appreciated the relaxed approach from the sales staff. After thinking about the purchase, I called the next day and they set it aside for me.
Thanks Tom Lee Richmond and the guitar department for a great shopping experience. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in today to pickup a pedal I had ordered online, and everyone was very welcoming. The employee who helped me, Alex, was awesome. He invited me to look around and try out any other pedals I was interested in, and he answered all of my questions. I'll be back for sure!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stopped in to check out a sale they had on fender B-stock guitars. All three staff members who I spoke with were extremely friendly and helpful. They let me try a few guitars, before I made my choice. I saved a lot of money on a beautiful guitar.
