I asked the cashier why and she said the store has a policy that they assume if you don't have a mask you have a valid reason. It's crazy. You are putting your staff and other customers at risk. Get the unmasked people to do curbside pickup. Or put a big sign out front that says "our store is full of unmasked customers, enter at your own risk." I was in the store with my baby, under the assumption that you take the same precautions as other stores. I couldn't get out fast enough.

I saw the response saying that the customers who don't wear masks are 'mostly regulars' - but honestly they have staff members who never even wore them properly even when they were stocking shelves. So it goes to show what the ownership really thinks about keeping everyone safe. I used to shop here a lot but will be going elsewhere now.

Staff is also extremely kind and understanding of people's medical privacy and still honours a code of respect. A great place overall.

It's not a small store by any chance, there's a large selection of goods, just like a normal grocery but the products are many times better. I'm making a permanent switch to buy my household essentials here. They have a variety of teas, and a bulk section, too.
