About Timber Ridge Firewood Calgary
Hello, my name is Steven Boivin the CEO of the company and I want to share with you our story and how this has all been possible to accomplish.
I started Timber Ridge Firewood in 2016 in my last year of high school. My parent’s arborist company Timber Ridge Tree Service would remove local trees in Calgary and Surrounding areas. Over time they had accumulated a large volume of wood rounds. This sparked the idea of splitting the wood that we received from removing local trees and repurposing it into firewood.
My first summer was filled with a tremendous amount of hard work, early mornings, late nights and many more orders than I could have dreamed of. This showed me that people had a need, a desire and an emotional connection to firewood. Firewood to me became the heart of someone’s home, the focal point of social gatherings and something that was experiential and social. It was no longer just a product anymore but something that impacted people’s lives in a positive way. This discovery gave me the drive and desire to turn this company into something bigger than just a small firewood business. It became something I wanted to develop, to gain experience with and to be a vehicle for creating relationships, expanding my network and serving people on a larger scale.

The staff are super friendly and extremely helpful, genuinely nice guys who went above and beyond helping me load it up. The wood is dry and perfectly seasoned, bug free and burns like a dream! Combined with their great prices, you can't go wrong with Timber Ridge Firewood. Highly recommended!
