★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I attended a workshop by Thuja Floral Design at Red Lion Smokehouse and had a wonderful time! The instructor was very friendly and informative. We made terrariums and they turned out beautiful. I will definitely come visit the shop soon to see what else I can scoop up! I love having such a unique and lovely shop in Thunder Bay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easily the best florist in Northwestern Ontario. Selection is modern and tasteful, not roses and teddy bears but unique flowers, succulents, vases etc. The other great thing is it’s not expensive. This is my new go-to flower shop. They deliver in the city for about $10 and their design is awesome. I just moved from Portland, OR and you might as well just have moved this store from there. Couldn’t be happier.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went into Thuja looking for some succulents a while back, and it just occurred to me to write a review. The store is very well kept, and the options available for potted plants are numerous. You can purchase pre-made plant bundles with soil and pots or you can buy just the plants themselves and make your own combination.
Not knowing much about the plants themselves isn't a problem either, as the woman that was there was patient, friendly, and conveyed information very easily. I recommend this establishment to anyone looking for smaller plants and I will definitely consider it if I am in need of a florist.
My succulents and I are quite happy thus far

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Emailed for an inquiry after store hours and she got back to me right away same night on her own time, which I thought was awesome! Great variety of unique plants that I was able to get what I’ve been looking for at a good price! Payment and pickup was all easy and contactless. I called when I was parked out front and she left my order on a table outside perfectly. Extremely happy with the quality of plants and service! Definitely reccomend & will be a repeat customer:)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered flowers from this place, for the staff at my mothers long term care home, as a thank you for taking care of my mother in her final days. I called, and spoke to an employee to ensure that they understood the significance of the gift, and was quite emotional on the call when I was telling them what to put in the card. They assured me what I had picked was appropriate. I spent near $100. I found out, from a family member who went in to collect my mothers belongings that the gift was small… and they said it was embarrassing given the message we wanted to send.

Sent the owner a quick email and she resolved the issue without any hassle, she also sent a new bouquet the following week and they were absolutely beautiful. Excellent customer service, one of my favourite flower shops in town!
