★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the privilege to meet Adela 9 years ago when I was looking for a piano teacher for my 4 yrs old son. Adela has an incredibly passionate, warm and efficient method of teaching, bringing the music to a totally different level. Shortly after I enrolled my son, he was very excited and looking forward to the next lesson. I was so happy to have discovered Adela that I also decided to go back to my love for music and restart violin after 28 yrs...and what an amazing experience! Adela helped me regain my confidence, finding the right techniques to overcome obstacles and boost my skills in a short time! Adela also teaches canto so I started canto lessons as well, I wanted so much to develop my voice. I learned so much from Adela and what a pleasure having the chance to sing together! I enjoyed every second of every single lesson! I recommend with all my heart Adela and the Thorncrest Music Academy!

Adela understands that each student is unique and works with them to help achieve their goals. In the time that I have been a student here, I have already made a significant amount of progress with piano and have developed an even richer appreciation for music!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ms. Lungu has been teaching my kids (8 and 10 years old) piano for over two years now, starting in person at the studio, and switching to virtual since the start of the pandemic. The kids were beginners when they started, learning how to read notes and play corresponding keys on the piano. They have come a long way in their ability to play and are now progressing through various levels of RCM books. Ms. Lungu is very kind, patient, and knowledgeable. She teaches with sincerity and passion. We highly recommend her and her school.
