First skating experience for my daughter has been great. Small class sizes and enthusiastic instructors have really contributed to a positive and fun learning environment. My daughter has been excited to go and comes off the ice grinning every time (granted, we've only been a few times so far).

Thank you 'The Zone' for providing such great alternative hockey options especially when some might be hesitant to try the sport! You've got a great facility, a very helpful team who responds back to phone calls, emails, questions and we thank you for being part of this community.

Coaches are great! Great ratio of kids to coaches. Will be signing kids up again in the future!

Amazing place to start young ones and watch them grow. My son started at 3 and has been going for 3 years now off and on. Every class and instructor has been so helpful and direct. I especially like how he’s gotten older and the instructors keep pushing to strive better, he has improved so much and looks forward to every class. The rink is also set up for parents to watch which is my favorite ( aside from Covid rules ?). Keep it up, great place for the Region! Can’t wait for my daughter to start!

My daughter is having an amazing time learning to skate. Also, a huge thank you for giving her a 1 on 1 session because we showed up on the wrong day.

Absolutely worst Admin Staff esp Tatiana. I enrolled my child and paid in full. We are new to skating and I informed them my son has never been on ice. Tatiana called us and enrolled us in the class that was an advanced program which was not informed to us on the phone. I kept on telling her that my child is very new to this. There were 14 kids with 3 instructors. My son kept on crying as he did not know what to do. One of the coaches guided us on that day that there is another program that is basic learn to skate with only 4 kids and 2 instructors. We requested to be moved to that rink. The Admin Staff never contacted us. We called them a number of times and there was no response. One fine day, they picked up finally and told me there are no more spaces and that they will not be refunding. I literally had to tell them that it's not fair that nobody contacted us as we were supposed to be on priority list. The Admin person told me that whoever I spoke to earlier did not put the notes in my file and now everything was full. After much talking I was finally able to get into May 1st session. The coach was amazing - Whitney. She was supportive. It's really a shame that this place has amazing Coaches and the worst Admin Staff. My son fell sick and missed 1 class. I emailed them and called and left messages a number of times. Tatiana said that she received nothing from us. All I wanted was to see if I can get 1 extra class coz my son was really sick. But Tatiana was extremely rude and was not ready to listen to me and infact disconnected the phone. I called back again 3 times, left the message, she ignored. I was still persistent in calling and I told her that she hung up on me, to which she. Answered ," I did not hung up , something happened. I couldn't pick up coz I was busy with other things and I am not capable of doing many things at 1 time." So my question is that you have an unhappy client but you choose to ignore that client and do other things and make them more angry. Wow, what a service. Please stay away from this place. You want your child to have a good time and not deal with this. To the owner: Thankyou for your reply. But this reply is more subtle than what you said in your email. You basically told me in your email that YOU DO NOT CARE ABOUT MY BUSINESS OR EXPERIENCE, which is fine you don't have to. But it's upsetting and not expected from someone who has been in the business from past 17 years. Good luck. I do not wish to continue.
