Owner and massage therapist Sarah Chaisson started her journey in to wellness at 8 years old when her family doctor said he could feel her healing touch just by taking her blood pressure. This encouraged Sarah’s mother to urge her to start learning about healing the mind, body, and spirit. 

Sarah has educated herself in various healing properties such as reiki, crystals, reflexology, essential oils, and many other modalities. Sarah’s true gifts always lay in intuitive touch and palpation; often hearing there is a strong healing element to her touch. These such comments from her esteemed instructors and mentors propelled Sarah into massage school where she graduated with honours. But more importantly, this is where Sarah fell in love with the repair of the human body. 

A passion for anatomy and functional movement has let Sarah find the solution to any ailment put in front of her. Sarah has been blessed in her career working on athletes within the Olympic level, amateur athletes, and all the way down to your everyday person who has thrown their back out in the shower. 

Instincts:

Sarah firmly believes that massage is instinctual; the first the thing we do when something hurts is push on it, massage being an instinctual healing activity deep within our psyche. Sarah would like to encourage you to think outside of the box when you think of massage and challenge her with fixing the things you think cannot be fixed. 

Sarah has aided in diminishing simple symptoms such as headaches all the way through to more serious afflictions such as tinnitus, numbness and tingling, mild severe body pain, vertigo, stomach aches, and bronchitis. So it is safe to say you can trust her previous patients declarations that this is “not your average massage!”
