★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Sunny Spot is an aptly named, adorable little place to stop by for ice cream or a quick meal. The owners/servers are super friendly and everything is fresh and delicious. They have a great view of the valley and have plenty of seating with lots of space for social distancing. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an outdoor place to enjoy some food.

I'm always on the look out for great burgers and fries everywhere I go, and I say with certainty: this is a top tier place in the entire province. Better than Peters Drive In. Better than Five Guys.
The fries are hand cut and I think the best I've ever had. Perfectly crispy, but not hard. Soft and potatoey on the inside.
The burgers are smashed burgers. I was expecting big frozen patties, but I was VERY pleasantly surprised by the homemade, patties - smashed and beautifully crusty! Smashed patties are thinner so I recommend ordering a double to get the real smashed burger experience (I ordered a single because I didn't know at the time). The sauce and toppings were great as well. This burger was a 9/10. The only thing keeping it from a perfect score was that the bun was a little dry - shrug? With a fresher bun it would have dethroned my favorite burger (Five Guys) but for now its a tie.
The service was very friendly, and they were happy to accommodate our requests (such as extra ketchup).
They also serve Foothills Creamery Ice Cream, which is fantastic.
You can eat outside on picnic tables and they have a tent for inclement weather.
This place is a few minutes out of Drumheller, but its well worth the 13 minutes of driving. You'd probably be waiting that time another restaurant anyway.
I'm actually considering a roadtrip with my burger-loving friends, despite the 3 hour drive from Edmonton. That's how good it was.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The excellent place for a quick bite after visiting the hoodoos on Hwy 10. The place seems to be run by the farmers there. If you visit during corn season, you get to go into the corn maze for a small fee. Just watch out for the millions of mosquitoes. I haven't been swarmed like that ever before.
Watch out for the big size of fries, too big IMO.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seriously amazing food! Simple menu done right! If you’re lucky enough to be there for asparagus season, you have to seize the opportunity to buy some! Nothing says you’re heart is in it like coming to your table to ask about your experience! Still smiling about the entire visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place to stop at, to enjoy a delicious meal or snack! I took the Beef taco salad and it was incredibly delicious! A cute little patio/picnic tables overlooking the iconic valley!
On warm days, they have sprinklers as a refreshment.

We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious food, friendly service. And even got some fresh local produce, carrots, broccoli, and giant zucchini from the farm.
Such an amazing stop on our trip out to Drumheller surrounded by an awesome farm, sunflowers around patio/picnic area, and great people.
We will be back for sure!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stop for a nice lunch on our way to the Hoodoos. The food was delicious and freshly prepared by the hard working chefs. The place is pet friendly so that was a huge bonus. We really enjoyed our freshly prepared food on the picnic table. It's a great atmosphere. We will definitely stop by to support the local food joint.
