Weβre a church for young adults and we want to help you during this phase of life where you probably have more questions than you do answers. The Project is the young adult ministry based out of Hope City Church in Edmonton, Alberta.
About The Project
We started an experiment in authentic Christianity in the spring of 2002 that has led to something beyond what we thought possible. What happened was something, we think, only God could have done. Every trend around us was saying twenty-somethings were leaving church and weren’t interested in following Jesus, so we dared to try something that would counter that trend:
We wanted to be the kind of church that young adults wanted to attend.
The premise was simple: Give young adults the space and freedom to discover who Jesus is and let them find out for themselves how an honest pursuit of God could change their lives. Since then, we’ve seen thousands of young adults over the years get together on Sunday nights and pursue God in an authentic way.

β β β β β Love being at the Project every Sunday evening in person because if I was to watch it online I would feel very disconnected from other people because I only have my parents in my house but they don't want to watch the Project with me so I prefer going to the Project in person on Sunday evenings and really love it a lot because at least I am making a lot of friends from when I 1st started going in March of 2020

β β β β β The messages don't really go deep for me, but something I see the Project does well is creating community. So many young adults are going outside of their own Church to find belonging and this is a place that allows you to get in community, small groups, events they have. Been going for years . Most people you encounter will have their own church, but they are drawing in a lot of young adults who want to get in community

β β β β β An amazing church for young adults. I really enjoyed the times I went there. And if you are a young adult then I would totally encourage you to go. (and bring a friend.) If you make this your regular church. You won't regret it. And it will help you grow closer to God. And by continuing to attend and be a part of the church you will become connected to the amazing body of Christ. And being connected will make you a stronger Christian more able to withstand Satan.

I needed something to get me out of my routine and needed to incorporate more strength training. The guidance, motivation and push you receive from the trainers is amazing. I was nervous for my first class but was soon put at ease as The trainers take the time to correct posture and teach proper techniques. I love the variety of the classes: burn, strength and circuit. Jordan has created a community that I am proud to be a part of. The support and encouragement you receive from other members is an empowering feeling! I will definitely be incorporating the projct into my workout routine and I have already noticed myself getting stronger! Love the challenges they offer!

β β β β β I joined The Projct last fall after hearing about it through a couple of friends. The best part about the gym is the culture and community aspect. Jordan and his team make it fun, challenging and inclusive for everyone. Even the online classes are amazing - the instructors are friendly, know you by name and pay attention to make sure your form is the best it can be. I canβt say enough good things about The Projct!
