The staff is generally friendly, but seems to have very, very bad days whenever they are having any bad day at all. The store can be a great place for thrifty finds at times, especially when they offer their sale days. Most of the time, the pricing can be very inconsistent, though. A well made, undamaged, high quality pair of branded jeans can be randomly in their discounted bin, but a ratty, low-quality, fast-fashion branded pair can be a much higher price for no logical reason. So, it can be great for those rare β€œfinds,” but for overall shopping, more consistent pricing would be preferred so that more of the items can be considered β€œfinds.” Sometimes their blanket pricing on items (like 50 cent candle holders regardless of style) can turn into real treasures, though. They actually are a legitimate non-profit, which means no taxes. However, Canadian Mental Health doesn’t really offer any services in Medicine Hat to help support the mental health needs of the community they have their fundraising store in. In fact, if you call them, they will list this store as their main resource in Medicine Hat. I understand the concept of β€œretail therapy,” but Medicine Hat needs and deserves more from an organization profiting off them that supposedly cares about the mental health of Canadians.

Not much here yet. Need more donation. Spacious new store. Cute gems can be found.

Their old location had lots of clothing. Now they have very little. Mostly junky garage sale type items is what they sell. Will not survive on this kind of merchandise. My suggestion to management is to get back into the clothing and keep prices low. The big corporate charity store on the other side of the city has raised prices to where they are losing lots of customers. This is your chance.

This store is definitely a gem but you have to take your time to look around. well organized, lots of variety. Not sure who is donating here, but children clothes and toys weren't in the best condition. I wish people did better by donating good stuff ? .

Value Village $17.99 for bread maker. The Post $5 for a clean, much better shape model. ❀ it!

I used to love going to the post to support mental health in our community , as well as being able to afford items for my family. It was a win-win. However, recently I have noticed the prices on the items have taken a steep incline. Used furniture is priced as high as things you can purchase new-in-store and in much better condition. Not to mention the items they have deemed to be "high-end" (clothes, etc.) Are priced anywhere from $25‐$80 plus. It's really disheartening to see. People are struggling now more than ever.

I would highly suggest changing the opening hours on google. It is insanely frustrating to see that opening hours are 8:15-4:15 on google, then drive all the way to the POST which is a 40 minute drive for me only to see that opening hours aren’t until 10:00. Not at all impressed. People use google to find out important information about the stores opening hours/addresses and if that is not correct and people take the time to drive to the location, it is simply not fair. I would highly suggest changing your opening hours on google so this does not happen to another person.
