Great place to pick up a meat pie to have at a picnic table when heading north on the island when passing through Nanoose Bay. Just give them a call at least one hour before picking up so they can bake it for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just go! Stumbled on this place on a visit. So so good. We purchased the fruit pies and they were some of the best we have ever had, even better than my own homemade. The crust was light and flakey, the filling full of flavour. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Very rude wanted to try the pies from there new location but after the run in I had with him in quality foods in qualicum I don't think that I would like to support him one bit!..Definitely not the old piefactory that was in parksville!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a great find just off the highway at Nanoose Bay, socially distanced pleasant service at the door. We got the steak & Guinness pie, heated it as directed and it was fantastic. There wasn’t signage from the road so drive into the community center parking area and walk around the far side.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We bought home a roasted chicken pot pie. This was unlike any chicken pot pie I have ever tasted. The pie was top heavy with pastry that never browned. There was no cream used in the sauce, just broth and too much broth. This rendered the bottom pastry totally soggy. Only carrots and onions. Not something I would recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great flaky, homemade pies! Found this place on Google Maps and decided to grab our lunch for the ferry here. Called ahead and was able to pick up our roast chicken, cheese and sausage and apple pies within 45 min, heated up and boxed for our commute. When you get there, you’ll see it’s just a big community kitchen with all the raw ingredients for making pie. Taste could have been a bit stronger (more salt / sugar) but I’m sure it’s healthier than the store bought kind. Friendly, efficient service. Highly recommend!
