About The Paw Resort & Wellness Centre
When a vet and a vet’s assistant get married, odds are there’ll be pets in the household. And the Nichols family (Joanne, Frank, Katherine, Amie, Cailey and Andrew) are indeed animal lovers one and all. Horses, cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, dogs, hamsters, rabbits, pigeons, fish and one cranky macaw that one time or another shared their home. And for many years the Nichols boarded pets, at first for friends, then for the local community.
All along, they shared a dream of something more: A home-away-from-home for pets. The Paw Resort is the culmination of that dream, many years in the making. Here pets can frolic, snooze, play, get a new hairstyle, learn new things, and then rest easy while their human family is away.
Now they - Live their work. Literally. Their home is on the top floor of The Paw Resort, so they are always close at hand to look after their guests.
The Paw Resort & Wellness Centre is a 7,000-square-feet facility sitting on 80 acres of rolling hills in Brandon, Manitoba. The only facility of our kind within hundreds of miles—offering your pet multiple services under one roof in a stunning, natural setting.

Their dream of an amazing facility for both pets and their humans has become a reality and along with it comes peace of mind when having to leave our furry friends for travel, work or an emergency. Their love and dedication are palpable. Offering services like a pick up and drop off, grooming, playtime, boarding, puppy classes etc..., wellness rooms... they offer a "one stop shop" with top notch care and love for my (and your!) pets! I highly recommend this fantastic facility that I'm sure our Lab Theo thinks of as his second home!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have 2 dogs that go every 6 weeks for grooming and 1 dog that had an extended stay because she required "bed rest" we could not manage on our farm. The grooming is excellent, the dogs love to go and are in great physical and mental shape when picked up.
Our long term dog came home all healed up and loved all the attention the staff gave her.
We have had dogs and used groomers and kennels for over 30 years and The Paw rates as the best experience we have ever had.A super well managed establishment.
You pay for what you get and at The Paw you get fantastic value for your dollar.

We’ve been taking him to puppy and fundamental classes - and it’s been fun for everyone and we learn very useful tools for training him to be a nice family pet. We also utilize playcare - which has been a lifesaver for all of us! We have piece of mind knowing he’s in a supervised playgroup burning off energy and learning how to play with other puppies. He comes home tired, never smelly and they send us adorable photos of him with his new friends! I don’t know how they do it - but the staff is amazing! Thank you for taking such good care of our little man! We would not go anywhere else!

I have left my Chewy at The Paw a few times and the staff takes such good care of him and gives us updates...We also had him groomed there and we were very impressed at the result. I can now go away worry free because I know he is in the best hands! Since coming to The Paw, I think this is the best place for your pets to stay at!

I provided my availability and then haven't heard anything since. I sent 2 emails over the past two weeks and have still heard nothing. A simple "we are no longer hiring" would have been nice so I'm not excitedly waiting for nothing. ?

You were so kind as to be able to fit us in. You have looked after all our family's pets. We appreciate the service you provided by seeing us.
When we are coming to Manitoba to see our family in the future we will call ahead and book an appointment! She never looks this good at our local groomer and the last visit in November before our extended holiday, she was hesitant with her. Time to find a new groomer in Alberta as well.
Jennifer worked hard to be able to accommodate us, Ashley did an amazing job on rectifying a very bad cut and experience at the last groomer in Yuma Arizona, our CoCo looks wonderful! Never again will we leave our dog with a groomer where she was so hesitant! Tough lesson learned!
We do hope she was good for Ashley and the crew! We are thrilled with how beautiful she looks and how happy she is. Please thank everyone for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend this business. We have a pet with special needs requiring medication several times per day. Her medication is always administered in a timely manner and her health concerns are always addressed. We could not ask for better care for her.
The Paw has gone through great lengths to keep our pets, the staff and customers safe throughout this challenging time while still providing the best service possible. The owners and staff are always friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. We have dealt with them for several years and have had all positive experiences.
