The espresso is strong and flavourful, they have almond milk and avocado chocolate cake!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mediocre coffee, a lot of mosquitos in the coffee shop and slow service! We asked for bagels with cream cheese but they gave us plain bagels with a veggie cream cheese in a separate container which was disappointing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner and I stayed near Bancroft for a week and we visited this lovely cafe 4 times. We really enjoy cappuccinos and were grateful to find The Muse. I think they’re the only place in town that can make a decent one! The decor is full of original art and comfortable seating. The staff are very friendly too. We loved supporting this local business, especially during these pandemic times when so many are struggling.

Their espresso beverages are high quality and the space is quite authentic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A peaceful place to stop in for a coffee and snack when travelling through Bancroft. I recommend their Maple brewed coffee! They have gluten free options available for quiche and muffins. Regular items are delicious too. They will warm up the snack for you.
The art is lovely to look at and on weekend evenings in the summer, there is live music.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed north of Bancroft for 5 days over this past long weekend. We had the delight of coming here a couple days. They were so sweet! Gave our kids colouring books to keep them entertained, art work was incredible and the espresso better than Starbucks! Thanks ladies!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem in Bancroft. Recently under new ownership 'because we couldn't let it close' this charming coffee shop was the perfect place to stop on our road trip. The coffee was great, service outstanding and the decor fun. They have an intriguing series of snacks available too. Definitely worth a detour to visit... but if your going through Bancroft you drive right by.
