The Ministry of Coffee

I asked if the barista can make a simple design on my coffee foam. I was told yes, i did not get what I asked for. 100% disappointed. Spicy Chai latte was bland.

Great little coffee shop set in a serene environment is perfect for relaxing after a hectic day. A cozy little hidden gem in the Beechwood area, my neighborhood. What more can I ask for?

One of our favorite places to grab a bite/coffee. The grilled cheese on Nats Bread is a nice change from the previous offerings. The coffee's always solid, and the staff are super nice.

The girl at the counter seemed to be the only one working on this day. It wasn't busy but there was a steady stream of singles walking in. I ordered an almond milk cappuccino but it was very much a latte, not foamy... The coffee tasted good, not fantastic. Other then this, cute outdoor seating, nice for a quick neighborhood stop. Would I come back? Probably not.

This coffee shop is a must try if you are in the beechwood area. The Cortado was one of the best I have had. The barista was friendly and the environment was excellent. Great vibes, good coffee, and friendly service. We will be back!

Was looking forward to go to this spot. What a disappointment! The staff was not welcoming, the assortment was poor-some lonely sandwich and and one eclair (overpriced, brought from the great place in Hintonburg, called Les Moulins La Fayette, where it is cheaper and way fresher), and it was just at 1pm, though they close at 4:30pm. Do not really know what they were serving till then. We asked for proper glass cups and plates, to have it "for here", but got one of the coffees was in a paper cup, the guy at the counter said "we are out of glass ones". There were really few people there-maybe they only have three cups for the whole coffee house, but it was weird. The place is dirty and not taken care of. The tables are sticky, there are crumbs and leftovers everywhere. They did not even clean the surface from the stickers which were previously on them. See the picture. In the middle of us having coffee, the girl picked the broom and started sweeping around every table-regardless if there were customers or not, she was hitting every chair and our legs saying "oh, sorry" each time and won't not stop even after we gave her a look and a comment. There was zero need to do it at that time and it felt extremely unpleasant- not even mentioning there was no privacy or comfort anymore. This place is neglected-the windows have greasy marks from heads and fingers, the floors and the furniture all dirty. Do not waste your money, go elsewhere, you won't find any service here as they seem to have no idea. Or maybe get your coffee "to go"-the coffee was just fine.

Walking in the place is clean and welcoming, and ordering is easy. I got a hot chocolate, and my friend got a Latté. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was disappointed after drinking my hot chocolate. I ordered no whip cream or foam, and they didn't put any of that in my drink, but they only filled my small cup halfway. For the price (approximately $6.00) I was hoping they'd at least put some milk in or something. They should be more sensory friendly considering I wasn't asking for something hard to do. My friend enjoyed her Latté, they had run out of lactose free milk but offered a substitute and happily put oak milk in.
