โ โ โ โ โ First Chinese skewer experience and I was excited but it was kind of disappointing. The food was good but they seem to only have a couple different marinades. I wish there was sauce cuz it was all dry rub seasonings. The skewers were yummy, but not filling.
The price looks good until you start ordering with the minimum orders and then it comes to $70+ for 2 people. Not sure if all skewer places are like this
I don't recommend the chicken stack โ literally a pile of seasoned and fried chicken bones that must've been leftover from their skewer-making process. Its resourceful for them, that's for sure.
Service was below average. It was difficult to flag down the servers. Not sure if they treated us differently cuz my boyfriend and I don't (look like, at least) speak Chinese.
The ordering style was easy โ writing the number of orders on a paper menu. But they missed one of the items that we checked off.
Setting is like a western-style family diner as this place used to be an Applebee's.
Overall not a satisfying experience and wouldn't return

โ โ โ โ โ Great social food experience here. You're able to try a lot of BBQ meats and veggies on a stick. Such a variety of options and a fun dining experience. Would reccomend the shrimp on a stick, buns on a stick, lamb skewers, and the sugar coated Hawthornes on a stick. All very good. Good type of food to have over conversations and stuff.

โ โ โ โ โ The server forgot some of our items, we waited for a long while until we decided to remind the server.
Also, I love squid, but theirs is soooooo full of spices, that I could barely taste the meat. Maybe it is a cultural thing, but I just could not finish that meal.

They have alcoholic drinks and lots of food that are great with alcohol. I like the lamb or beef skewers, and scallop garlic

โ โ โ โ โ Plenty of parking space, the food is really tasty without the need for additional sauces. The beef skewers were a bit dry and the juicier meats were the pork. The mushroom garlic shiitake was really good and would recommend. A pretty decent price when sharing with more people. The seasoning feels like the 5 spice style so it tastes pretty strong sometimes.

โ โ โ โ โ Absolutely? yumm. The meats are tender and with well blended marinade and spices. The experience itself is fun and the venue is way big and spacious and the food are really, really good. Top faves are the fried rice, scallop, beef steak, fried chicken skins, chicken gristle and spicy clams. The service is always the best, Danny took my reservation and understood my apprehension about going back to dine in for the first time since C19 and that the family is celebrating something special so he made sure we were comfortable and tucked away in a private corner. Imported Beer tower is a bonus! Only thing though is the music is a bit too loud. I
have been recommending this place to my friends and colleagues, a proud Richmondnite.

โ โ โ โ โ I know this is a skewerโs place but I actually here to eat these clams. The most I ate was 3 clams dishesโฆ I know! I also love the prawns, jelly fish and I usually get the peanut noodles but was sold out today. Iโll be back in few weeksโฆ! ?
