★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My grandmother like it here, easy living and very nice places. She also attends the church regularly so it being right next door is a big plus for her. The biggest drawback is there isn't akot of park space near by for her to walk around and no where for her to really garden.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a senior's home with a tricky hook. You have to buy the suite for a lot of money, then lease the property your unit occupies and pay monthly. Seniors should not be looking at massive buyins at their age when things can change in so few years down the road. It is owned by the Catholic church and they must approve you to buy in and they must approve and sale by family after the seniors die or move to more intense care. Too complicated a deal for most seniors. There could be noise from a busy railway line runing along the side of the building.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am shocked at the negative review(s) - oddly posted at the same time by non-residents, regarding the building management. The building manager is the kindest most compassionate lady you will ever meet, just ask any of the residents living there. I am writing this because my mother recently passed away and would have been extremely upset that someone would write this about the building manager. My only wish is that my mom could have enjoyed her place longer. She enjoyed every aspect of The Marian Courtyard - the friendships were the most comforting and the building manager, Donna, was truly someone she called her friend. Mom loved the activities, lunch and learn and socials; all organized by the building manager, as well as the fresh vegetables grown in the garden. My family felt truly blessed that we found this senior residence for mom. The Marian Courtyard is clean, organized, safe and well run due to great management. I wish I could give more stars; I would truly recommend The Marian Courtyard Senior Residence.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mother was one of the first residents.Negative comments from people about the management are not from the residents who all love Donna. If however you break rules as a visitor that negatively impact the owner residents you will be dealt with accordingly...perhaps this is the underlying reason for the one complaint about management originates. As to cost...this is a prime location and a quality building there are less expensive options or government subsidized options for those unable to afford this one. It is not for everyone. My mom is happy in her condo and loves the proximity to the church and school.
