The food was good and the portion size was really big. One portion is enough to serve two people. The service was quick and ambience was good.

Love the ambience and decor. We sat on patio and tried few cocktails, amazing flavours. The garlic fries were YUM!!

The absolute best nachos on the Island. Lots of cheese, perfect heat, and the chicken mixed in was perfect...Chipotle and lime flavoured. Guess is what I expect. Had their Cobb Salad before and it was awesome. All restaurants should check out the quality of their nachos and salads. Highly recommended.

Two stars for the beer and sunny patio. Zero stars for the food! Having been a vegetarian for 30 years I’m used to not having much choice but yesterday’s trip took me on a 1990’s time warp of poor choices! The only literal vegetarian thing was a tofu wrap or fries. They could take meat out of stuff and charge me the same but I had to ask for that option. In a diverse city like Victoria in 2022 it seemed odd. I’ve seen red neck rural pubs with more options. Aside from that the food was ridiculously expensive ($29 for nachos!), and not good. I had $12 fries that were probably the worst fries I’ve had and my friend had a wrap that was so soaked in mustard it was inedible. The server was ok but rushed. The nachos looked small and burnt and not worth the cost. It’s a nice spot with a patio on the water and the beer was good but the food menu and quality needs to be better. I don’t usually review but this was shockingly bad.

Came to Victoria for an amazing day trip, had about 1 hour before needing to head to the ferry. We figured 1 hour to grab 1 drink was plenty of time. There was one party ahead of us that needed their vaccines checked so we figured, cool we're next, shouldn't take long. By the time we sat down at a table it was easily between 10 - 15 min after we got to the place. My cousin needed to run to the restroom so I was going to order her drink for her. 10 min later a server had still not been around, so by this point, the 1 hour we had was now 35 minutes. We said forget it and went to Darcy's next door and got very fast and friendly service over there. I've been a server/bartender for 12+ years so this isn't some random ignorant opinion. If we got to the door and someone informed us that it would likely take 25 - 30 min before getting any service we wouldn't have wasted half of our last hour on the island at this place. (We also would have been confused because the patio was half empty).

This is a MUST experience eatery when you're in Victoria. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. The outdoor patio was fantastic and the food was over the top. Atmosphere of your local pub with fine dining quality food and portions that are robust. Do NOT miss this stop on your travels. We're from Ontario and the service that we received from this establishment along with what they did for us, can not be found here at home. Should we find ourselves in Victoria again, this will be our first stop. Thank you for an absolutely perfect visit.

So hungry and looking for a late night snack in downtown we came across this restaurant, the food was good , but the music and decor where pretty cool, filled with pretty people and nice staff. The prices weren’t bad either

Host and service super friendly. Venue setting outdoors subject to crisp autumn winds, if you don't mind the constant peering of slow traffic but lovely views of the harbour. Meals took a while but were good, eat quick before the crisp cold takes effect. We trust summer is lovely.
