★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I couldn't find the light fixture I was looking for at my local Home Depot but the Squamish location had them in stock for a great price. Madhu Thakur, at Customer Service, was very helpful in answering multiple questions about package dimension/weight, etc., and guided me through ordering online and the shipping process for coordinating my own courier to pick up the lights from Home Depot (as they were a specialty item that could not be sent to my local Home Depot).
Joe Patterson, at Customer Service, then helped with printing off my waybills and attached them to the 4 boxes and then replied to my email to let me know when the order was ready for pick up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I especially love that I can search for the thing I might need online, and then see which part of which aisle the thing is in. Fabulous.
I mean... great people at the Depot... But who really wants to have to ask a fellow human where the industrial toilet plungers are.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a weird experience today where the gentleman working in the lumber department today looked like he'd rather drink spoiled milk than answer any of our questions. Then he refused to do more than one cut on the board we were purchasing and said it was against the rules. We asked if he could just cut it in half then.. and he cut in unevenly rendering it useless to us. It was absolutely bizarre.
Giving the review a 2 stars because we've had other visits that were adequate.. this is just the most prominent one!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been having a lot of issues with faulty products. A big one was a cast sink that actually had a microscopic round hole in the casing so it didn't hold water. Of course they were happy to give me a new sink but that doesn't cover the cost of the install and subsequent removal and reinstall. Be sure to look over your purchase before install.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my second day , I went to buy 3 fridges, first day the person that worked in that department was off sick , so I spoke to another sales person, informed him of the 3 fridges I wanted to buy! After spending a few hours there he said I would have to wait for the person that worked in that Department, so a day later she calls, She read the note but one of the fridges I wanted has been sold, I went back today was treated very rudely, 3 staff members working on selling a $ 300 dollar fridge, said can’t you see we are busy, I replied this is my second day here, she replied what what do you want in a rude voice, I said hey I am a customer! I was going to buy 3 Fridges, after a few more rude answer I said that’s it I am going to spend my money else where and left!

Gary took us from aisle to aisle as we checked off our list, he made sure we found everything on the we needed. People like Gary are the reason I enjoy shopping at Home Depot, just a nice guy who knows his job and enjoys helping people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff at this Home Depot are amazing! I’ve been doing a few home projects, and multiple people have helped me find the right things, answered my questions without making me feel silly, and even cut lumber down to size for me. Makes it really enjoyable to try out projects!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to Squamish Home Depot to buy a wire shelf. I needed it cut down to size, and a very nice employee named Nathan helped me out. I was very appreciative since it was his first time using the machine and he cut it perfectly. After helping me with the wire rack, he was also able to look up my countertop order and confirm some details for me.
Thanks for being great Nathan! It was an awesome Home Depot experience.
