I have worked at the Eglinton Grand multiple times through my event and wedding planning business, Jessica Lisi Events, and nothing compares to their level of service, professionalism, and customer service. I swear Francesca is my spirit animal, always on the ball with everything, a complete sweetheart and a genius at her job, making it always a pleasure when my clients not only bring me on to do month-of coordination services with them, but also when I get to introduce Full Planning clients to this venue as well.

The most beautiful site for any wedding or event! After visiting numerous venues for my upcoming wedding, I instantly fell in LOVE when arriving at the Guild Inn Estate. It has everything you need in one location - a perfect area for the ceremony and stunning rooms for the reception. The staff, especially Shelly and Francesca, are a pleasure to work with and made the experience not only stress-free, but enjoyable! Their packages are also very reasonably prices and of great value. I highly recommend the Guild Inn Estate for your next event :)

Even in the bleak early Spring, the sites were stunning for a most enjoyable walk among a variety of architecture salvage and statues. Definitely will return to see the gardens in bloom!

Incredible experience with the Guild Inn Estate! We had our wedding there on October 30th and as hectic as weddings can be, I can truthfully say ours went pretty smoothly thanks to the staff and team. First, the grounds are beautiful. It rained (POURED) on our special day but everything is so beautiful there that it didn't matter - plenty of spaces just close enough to the venue to take some great outdoor photos. I want to give a special shout out to Francesca who was professional, friendly, and super helpful when we needed guidance with navigating the whole planning process in the middle of a pandemic. Wedding planning can be tough enough but Francesca really helped us make sure we had all our ducks in a row. Francesca was also very responsive and answered my many questions. I also want to give Beth a massive virtual hug. On the day-of, Beth made sure my husband and I were fed and well taken care of (because it really does get hectic!!). Beth checked in frequently, was there to keep me calm before our ceremony because some key guests were running late, and helped us locate missing items at the end of night. Great experience, highly recommend!

One of the best hidden gems of Scarborough! Used to come here as a kid in the 80s for brunch, but the hotel itself was closed down for over 20 years. In the past few years they tore down the main building and built a new one which is great for gatherings and weddings. The back of the Guild Inn is where the magic is at with the artistic gardens. The garden is connected to the bluffs so there are trails to the edge of the cliffs which offer a beautiful views of Lake Ontario. It can get busy on summer weekends due to the amount of weddings planned there so go during weekdays for an evening stroll, you won't regret it.

The Guild Inn Estate is a beautiful place to have a romantic Wedding ceremony and host an elegant Wedding Reception. Back then, The Guild was a tourist destination for Artists. It was a hotel with a pool and with direct access to the Guild Park and Gardens. The central section of the Guild Inn Estate is part of the original Inn. The left and right wings were torn down and rebuilt to what it is today. It was opened to the public in the Spring of 2017. The left wing is where the chapel is located. It is spacious enough to hold an intimate Wedding, and is fully equipped with overhead speakers and a small podium for the Officiant. There is a cold water dispenser and disposable cups available at the back of the Chapel for the guests. There is ample parking spaces. The Guild Inn Estate has several Wedding packages to choose from their website. Couples can pre-book ballrooms and have several food vendors to choose from. A round table can sit between 8 to 10 people. The ballrooms have floor to ceiling windows and opens to a partially enclosed outdoor patio with a magnificent view of the gardens. Guests can socialize as Servers bring out the hors d'oeuvre to them. A Bartender can easily set up a table in the middle of it and serve drinks. Half of the ballrooms have a dance floor and a stage. The overhead lights were operated by an on-site Lighting Technician. To one side is the indoor bar. Dinner rolls with butter balls came out first to the table. Followed by ... 1. Crab cake surrounded with a bed of mix greens. 2. Grilled Steak with roasted potatoes, carrots and asparagus. 3. Lemon tart served with raspberry sauce. 4. Poutine was available at the late night snacks bar. The Steak was medium rare, tender and delicious. The tart's whipped frosting was too sweet for my liking. In overall, everyone had a wonderful evening. It was a flawless ceremony and dining experience. I was a guest at the event. Tip: Hold back your cutlery because there was an odd moment when I was left without a knife for my main course. I used my butter knife instead, until the Server took that away too.

Absolutely beautiful and historical space! Did you know the oldest building in Scarborough in on The Guild Inn Estate? Lots of walking trails on the back grounds and along the top of the Bluffs, great spot to bird watch, gorgeous statues and stonework and access to washrooms. If you haven't been yet, I suggest you go!
