★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This arena is FREEZING COLD. No heaters, just heated benches, which do help keep your rear warm, but it does not make up for how insanely cold the air is. It was only 0 degrees C outside so I can't imagine how bad it is when it's actually cold outside! The ice surface looked excellent though, and the canteen was open.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This would be a nice arena experience without Covid bringing it down. The heated viewing area was closed, as was the canteen. The lines on the rinks are bright and the facility is clean which impressed me. The rinkside seating was comparable to other small arenas (if not slightly better). The top row has vinyl covered flip-up chairs-which you want to get to first because the rows below are all bench seating. I found it quite cold in the arena and had to bundle up when I got home to bring my body temp back up. It got a 3 instead of a 4 due to everything being closed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 out of 5 stars. Excellent clean, well maintained arena. FYI ITS HOCKEY AND GOING TO BE ABIT CHILLY. Also the dude (MD) that left 3 stars for Covid related issues is not the fault of the facility or its Volunteers. 3/5 is an insult to all those who did their best to have facilities functioning during these terrible times.
