I went into our local Gift and Candy Store that specializes in Retro Treats! "Welcome To The Emporium"  Discover this hidden gem located in our City Square Mall! Go in the entrance and walk right to the back of the hallway veering to the right of the stairs and turn RIGHT where you see Studio 21 straight ahead. There's a small sign directing you to the store, although you might not see it at first.  A hidden and seemingly unknown gem! I was shocked to see a very sweet little store jam-packed FULL of the coolest gifts, trinkets, blankets, treats and surprises clinging to the tastefully decorated walls and abundant shelves displaying many varieties of old fashioned/old-school candies from yesteryear and candies from now-a-days too. There were decorations of butterflies that caught my eye and I asked if they were for sale. Brenda confirmed that they could be although there were not a sale item currently. I suggested that many a Parent would be interested in such sweet gifts for their children. We all know that children rule and the younger the child, the greater their sweet little iron fist that has almost every last one of us big adults melting into puddles of mush at their wee little feet. Babies and toddlers? We are done for. Oh, the delight in those big bright eyes does it for us every time as we look down upon their beaming and excited faces. "Can I have?" We all know the answer to that one! Happy children and a happily 'defeated' adult. Aaahhh, what can we say?  lol Brenda makes blankets, does vinyl art and mentions doing some new stuff soon, too. I asked Brenda if she did sewing and alterations and she confirmed that she did. She can fix purses and attire, most anything and in a timely manner, too. I asked about delivery and she said that could be arranged by personal delivery or mailed or picked up or taxi delivered ($5.)(VIP and DIAMOND) or whatever method can be arranged. Whatever works! I asked her how long she'd been in business and she said since May 14 2021. The date of opening is on the store's Google Maps profile. Look for it there, on the main page, down on the left hand side. Watch for it, it's not that obvious. The store accepts cash, all credit cards, EMT and may negotiate other methods. The turn-around time for repairs and alterations is around 7-14 days, depending on the item and where it's being shipped. I took pictures of everything the store had in stock that day. I tried to look the store up on Google with no luck. The store wasn't even listed in the Phone Book! I was dismayed! I went back and told her I could not find her anywhere. I told her that I am a Level 7 Google Guide and that I was going to change that for her. A lady so kind and sweet SHOULD be listed far and wide, with MANY PICTURES and details to more-than-inform the people of this world that she and her store exists. This lady has an AMAZING attitude and deserves to do well! BRAVO, Brenda!
