★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Will never shop here ever again and I suggest the same to you. I bought a replacement part for my faucet which they recommended to me but didn’t fit. I brought it back and asked if I could possibly get a store credit (which would have been used toward a larger purchase of a whole new faucet). The “customer service” rep rudely said he wasn’t taking this part back as it was damaged (had Teflon tape on it) and I was asked “what am I gonna do with this?!” and “would YOU buy this part like this?!”. I decided to shop here to support a smaller local business even though the prices are higher but it’s too bad I get treated this way when there’s an issue. I don’t think I would have ever had this experience at a larger box store. Trust me : avoid this place at all costs!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My account is in my wife’s name. I’m Keith, an experienced DIYer. I prefer to use a locally owned specialty business rather than the big box stores whenever I can. So I went to EPS to investigate how to wire some unusual lamp globes that I have. The man at the parts desk was simply impolite, inattentive and unhelpful. He was not interested in serving me, was not the least inclined to come up with solutions and didn’t want to explain anything. I will not be buying my supplies there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently had our guest bathroom renovated in our condominium by the West end Electrical and Plumbing Store. The design was done by Anne Marie Tait and the work was done by Jonathan Deslaurier of JD Renovations. Both were excellent and despite stifling hot weather and working in a very small area Jon managed to complete the job on schedule. The area was clean and tidy when he left. We would certainly recommend them.

We recently moved to Perth and had difficulty finding a company that made us feel comfortable handling design/product selection and installation. Our reno was huge with 3 new bathrooms and a laundry room. Anne Marie Tait from the store was extremely helpful and patient. Anne Marie and Rebecca visited our home and made a series of design and product suggestions. The store hired Richard Cleroux (Bath Creations) to manage the project along with Guy Bourguignon (GF Unlimited Construction) and his crew who did the installation. All of them were fantastic! When we changed our minds on a few items the EP store took them back which was really impressive when we returned shower doors even after the packaging was discarded! It was a stressful 9 weeks but Anne Marie and Guy kept us grounded and reassured during the entire project and addressed all our concerns and issues. Everyone in this relationship went above and beyond. We are 100% satisfied and strongly recommend these folks!!!! We also want to thank Georgia and John for their valued assistance with lighting and bulb selections throughout our home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to get a faucet for a kitchen reno project. I had a very hard time finding kitchen faucet options in Ottawa that wasn’t from a big box store (I’ve heard they are made with inferior parts despite being the same model/make).
The faucet options felt a bit limited (compared to the big box store) but I was so happy with the faucet I left with. It could’ve be the only faucet option and I still would’ve been happy to buy from them. I definitely think everyone could find a faucet they like and would be confident that it’s good quality.
I worked with Sherri to make my choice. She was very understanding, patient and helpful.
I was also surprised by the amount of lighting and fan options at the store. Wish I found this place earlier.
