Had the Creamy alfredo with sautéed mushrooms, onions, peppers and garlic shrimp. Sooo good. The sauce was very creamy, the best I've ever tasted. You know it's going to be a good place to eat when you walk in and another customer is telling the staff that it was the best meal they've ever had.

Went for mother's day. I understand being busy. that part was fine. what we did not enjoy was the Buffalo chicken benny. The eggs were solid, the cheese wasn't melted, almost no hollandaise even though the posted pics were drenched in it. We were not checked in on. No one asked how things were. And given the bill before being asked if we would of liked anything else like a dessert. We moved to the area in November and this was a big deal for us going out. I will tell you this... we won't be spending our money here. The moose is way better put together. I suggest you get yourselves together.

Perfect meal with good friends! Staff was super friendly and offered good suggestions for our meals. Had the portobello burger and gravy. Quite delicious!! They offer a variety of salads, appetizers and main courses! I'll be back!!

Usually have great things to say about this place but less than diserable tonight. Pretty slow service tonight, although seemed waitress was on her own and seemed to be doing her best (not her fault). Took a while to get food, had to ask for a refill and only got half a glass! Had chicken strips which were tasty but portion size went down - my 4 strips were the equivalent of 2. My wife has a buffalo chicken wrap and it was very empty - couple small pieces of chicken and what not but not your typical wrap. Fries were tasty but seems less portion too. Quick checkout but noticed a lady just sitting on a chair at the kitchen window. Waitress is working hard she could have really used a hand. Seemed odd.

Ate at the Eddy for the first time. My experience in my opinion was very disappointing. I ordered a double burger and fries. I got my food my burger literally had one full burger patty and half of the other patty. No excuse for this as far as I'm concerned. We were told we 15-20 mins wait. It took 30 at 7 at night so wasn't busy. Forgot dipping sauce for wife's fries and had to go back. My fries also tasted weird to me and didn't enjoy them. I personally wouldn't eat there again. For what they charge for a burger, I expected much better. Or at least the two full patties I paid for. The waitress(Barb we think) was awesome to deal with and my wife really enjoyed her sandwich. My burger had a good amount of bacon. That is the only reason I gave the two stars.

This place was suggested by our host and is a walking distance from where we stayed. We had ordered a spinach cheese dip that came in with nacho chips and tasty naan breads. We also ordered 2 different burgers. Portobello mushroom burger originally comes with a beef patty but we being vegetarians, the chef was kind enough to give us a 2 bean patty instead. The other Burger was a Falafel Burger that came with cottage cheese and fresh veggies. The quantity of the fries served with the Burger was great! We enjoyed our meal and recommend it to everyone!

After days on the road, all I wanted was a satisfying meal. The Eddy was up for the task. On Saturday March 26th late afternoon, I ordered their signature burger with a side of fries to go. Because I was hungry. the chef offered an extra pattie and loads of fries. It was fantastic! The barbecue sauce was a thing of beauty.

Kakabeka has just a couple restaurants to visit. However, The Eddie is at the top of the food chain. If you’re passing through to go camping or just having a quick visit to see the waterfall. You should do yourself a favor and stop in for some excellent food and service. This food is legit. Real ingredients and everything is made from scratch. There is outdoor dining available as well as indoor. All the tables indoors have barriers for COVID protection. Great place to bring the family. My server was friendly and helpful. The food was tremendous. I was there for breakfast. I had a four egg Everything Omelet with home fries, dry rye and a side of sausage. I may have over done it a bit, but I finished every last bite without complaint. The next time I'm doing work out in the Kakabeka area, I'll be making The Eddie a priority for my lunch break.
